    > So everyone BUY BUY BUY!

You just answered that one yourself. I'm guessing it's because of DT's
niche fan base. It's probably a saving grace for the band. No, they
don't have the numbers some other artists on the label have. But, the
same fans that assure DT makes some kind of profit for the label can be
counted on to bolster that profit by snatching up all the special stuff.
The label makes more money. The band does too, and gets to have some
fun(i hope). Mike gets to play kirosawa for a little while. And we get
the fruit of their labor. bonus, dude!

    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought nothing could top Still Life , but oh how i was proven so
    wrong!!!!!!!
This cd is SO good... Its always good to hear bands really doing
something new... this embodies the term progressive in my book 100%!!!!!

Dont let the part-part growl vocals deter you from enjoying the genius
    that is OPETH...

Yes, you old-timers like Kevin, I am still alive, and I do still read this thing occasionally. ;)

Here's a question for my fellow 'jammers - anybody out there a vocalist in the VA/DC/MD area? Looking to join a band?

My band - Division - will be losing our singer after our show with Savatage and Fates Warning on the 19th. He's decided to move on to other things.

This faces us with somewhat of a dilemma, as you might imagine - especially as we have a new CD coming out.

As for what we do, we're a power metal band with progressive tendencies. Something like a cross between Nevermore and Iced Earth, with some In Flames thrown in, and a bunch of other stuff, too.

Anybody who is interested can check out our new stuff at http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/231/division_va.html

I would note that we're looking for someone to come in and sing in their own style, so don't worry if you don't sound like Scott, if your voice is lower or higher, etc.

Drop me a line if you're interested.

    Mike

Don't get me wrong Kurt, I love the DVD, but as I think it was Alfredo who commented, if you release into the public domain and charge them for it, they're entitled to pass comment. Hell, I've got loads more to say, but due to USA being behind Europe (as usual) I'll have to wait for all you sensitive Americans (who don't want things spoiled!) before I say more.

You will notice also the slight irony in which the original comment was made - 'fraid that's just an English thing ;)

I think Graham summed it up very succictly in fact:

    >Sync problems aside, this DVD is exactly what I needed to remind me >why Dream Theater are the greatest band in the entire fucking >universe.

Still, you've only got ten more days to go!

    Cheers

They weren't public coupons -- I just had $20 in CDnow credit, that's all.
