    Hi Charlie,

Hope you enjoyed the gig on Sunday - thought Susperia were excellent, hated
Nevermore, Lacuna Coil were OK, In Flames had their moments, and Dimmu
Borgir were excellent - Nick Barker's drumming is bloody fast!

Tried mailing you via a reply, but the messages kept on being returned, so
don't know what was going on there. Hope you managed to meet up with Graham
    B.

Maybe third time lucky next time.

    Cheers

    Doug

No, no, no. You are completely wrong.

    Susperia were mediocre.

Nevermore did admirably well considering the short set and the naff
sound - I think they should have been headlining the show. I was quite
disappointed they didn't play The Heart Collector or Evolution 169
    though.

Lacuna Coil - I didn't pay too much attention to the music as I was
too busy drooling at the sight of Cristina Scabbia. Oh man. But, just
for the record, their new CD is quite good.

In Flames impressed me, but that's probably because I was drunk.

Dimmu Borgir. Not impressed. Too much like Cradle Of Filth, but
without the nekkid women on stage. :-(

Hi! I've always thought I recogniced(sp?) the intro to SX's V. And now I remember why! It's almost an exact copy of Verdi's Requiem. And thinking about it the stories are pretty similar too. This ought to be in the SX liners, no? Well I don't know. I'm just trying to kick up some vaguely interesting conversation. Hey! I might as well also just put in a plug for my 3DDT page. If you like Arena you may also like Janison Edge. I was listening to them today and their style reminds me of Arena, except for having a female vocalist instead of male. Their keyboard sound is especially reminiscent of Arena and some of the guitar work is too. They aren't that heavy or super- proggy but they have good melodies and vocals. I haven't paid much attention to the lyrics. I have Janison Edge's "The Services of Mary Goode". I went to the screenprinter again today. He had a final version of both shirts(black and yellow) and both look great! They will be all done and ready to send out by the end of this week, so it's FINALLY time to start sending me orders. I have all the info on my website, which is http://www.numbersixdesign.net/ytseshirt.html

But here's all you really need to know:

The shirts cost $11. With shipping, $15. I wanted to sell them for $10 but i just couldn't. The good news is, that's a flat price, no more charging extra for larger sizes. No more fat tax! Anyway, you can't beat this deal, especially when you order a few of them, because I can send three or four with one shipping charge.

Paypal is the way to go, but you can also send checks, money orders, or naked pictures of your girlfriends and wives to: Joshua Rasiel 5 Brookhill Drive West Nyack, Ny 10994

Like last time, i will make all efforts to hold a shirt for anyone that wants one, but in order to make it official I need the cash. :)

Of course, make sure you specify in your order the size and color that you want. To see the yellow and black shirts, go to the site. There are also 5 limited edition white shirts, i believe a couple are already spoken for.

once again, that site is: http://www.numbersixdesign.net/ytseshirt.html

feel free to admire my flash handywork on the main page.

I've gotta spread the word about a -great- NEW band called Adagio. They play some very progressive neoclassical music in the vein of Symphony X, Majestic, Malmsteen, Dream Theater, and lots of other influences, but these are some of the main ones.

    Their web page is http://www.adagio.fr.st/

Jax will be featuring several of their songs this Friday night and Saturday night on her YtseRadio broadcast. Lots of us on the Symphony X list have been blown away by this band and I definitely wanted to spread the word on the 'Jam.. Check 'em out !! You won't be disappointed.

anyone thinks there's too much cheese in Savatage's stuff? or Shadow Gallery's? nothing progressive coming from progmetal bands lately, eh? symphony x's v? nah, they're just ripping off Mozart's Requiem here and there. spock's v? transatlantic? I think Neal Morse is kinda in auto-pilot mode there, songwise. Nothing really new. I liked "My New World" though.

    "DON'T DELETE--DR. SEUSS"

Start thinking about something you really really want, 'cause this is astounding... the person that sent this to me said their wish came true 10 mins after they read the mail so I thought what the heck.

     =A0 =A0 ****** =A0 =A0 ****** =A0 =A0 ****** =A0 =A0 ****** ************* =A0 =A0=A0 (,)(,) =A0 =A0 =A0=A0 u =A0 =A0 *......*

You have just been visited by Dr.Suess's Cat in the Hat. He will grant you one wish. Make your wish when the count down is over.

Send this to 10 people within the hour you read this. If you do, your wish will come true. If you=A0 don't, well it may not.
