That was about right for night 2, but they also played all the ep, Warning
    and Rage stuff again.
    I couldn't go to night 1, I was singing a punked-up version of 867-5309 with
    my friend's
    band, Shinola.

Oh yeah, Scott Ian was at QR2 as well, but they
introduced him as Scott Ian from VH1's The Rock Show!

Trevor is a wannabe rock star.

I'd like to, but I'm not sure if I can make it happen. Time will tell..

Hey! I had some of that stuff.. A few hits of that I thought you looked
more like Britney Spears. You're lucky I didn't fuck you.. :o)

Both Grado, and AKG make some nice phones in the $100.00 bracket.
I think the Grado model was the SR-80.. The $70.00 SR-60 is a great
    value as well.

I don't like it. But it took me over a year to grow to like Explorers club, so I'm not giving up yet.

I dont like it either... but i liked Explorer's club almost instantly, but im sure that its because of JP's guitar work on the disc. Im not digging how everything Gardner does sound the same (almost) :( And there is a lot of cheese on this disc... LaBrie sings great though..

Yep... if it hadn't been for JP's incredible soloing on that album, I would have listened to it once or twice and then forgotten about it completely. Thankfully I persevered and it grew on me a lot.

MagnaCarta.net has samples KNAC.COM has a review (http://www.knac.com/servlet/Rev_Page?reviewID=17022) - the link had been posted to the jam last week.

If you guys went to the online forums every so often you'd see the Leonardo album being dissected left and right:

I've posted here twice about it and I just ain't repeating myself yet again.

I couldn't find the disc in the store until yesterday. My first partial listen was today. I had too much else going on to give it my full attention.

Got the 2nd Mullmuzller in the mail yesterday. 7 songs are by LaBrie/Guillory, 2 from James/The Cheese Gallery Boys and 1 from James and Gardener. The Guillory songs are the most impressive. The songs varey quite a bit, James using his voice rather well. The material is not really that heavy, though can get heavy in parts.

A nice tie over untill the next is out.

I've not bought the album yet, but CDNOW sure is promoting it a lot... The week it came out, I got two notices from them (probably because I list Broadway as well as Rock as some of my preferences)... and I just got another notice about it today.

Good marketing campaign... I may even buy the album soon.

hey there folks, i know that a bunch of you spend time over on MP's site, but how many of you guys have taken a peek at the "Mike's Drums" section recently? i went there today to find some cool pics of his set, and wound up seeing something unlike anything i think i've ever seen before: The Siamese Monster. this is the new prototype setup that he's been using for the new album, and it's insane. almost borderlining on overkill. however, i can see how the new set will right away affect the style & sound that MP will have this time around. the way it's configured simply doesn't allow for the style of playing that we're used to hearing from him (by this, i mean tom rolls in excess of 5 in a row). :) functionally, i don't quite see the point of the whole thing, but that leaves me in all the more anticipation to hear the new album, and see them live next time around. check it out. what do you think?

let's hear the opinions folks. let's talk about our guys every now & then!! :)
