Sure... I know him since the Jaco/Percy Jones/Hansford Rowe aera when
fretless was becoming more popular -- and he was in Pat Metheny's band...
but this probably says more about my age anyway <leaning over cane>...

    >has he done anything else??? if so, what??? thanks.

(It's been a while since I've posted - damn MP forum sucks the life from
    you! ;)

Eric - Nice choice (luck?) with your finding of Mark Egan. He's been pretty
well known among the "Bass Player"/jazz crowd for a while (much to do with
that amazing doublenecked 4/8 string fretless... most used *cars* cost
less!) You can find his complete discography @
http://www.markegan.com/discography2.html, (Geez, he's played on just about
everything,) but some of the standouts include Sting's "Nothing Like the
Sun," and Joan Osbourn's "Relish" - Yes, the "What If God Was One Of Us?"
    chick.

Re: The new songs - What exactly is the policy of discussing mp3's from the
new CD on ytsejam? I'm one of the "weaker" ones who have found new
material, and would like to have some reasonably intelligent conversations
about it. MP.com is usuallly the place, but it's turned *extremely*
anti-6DoIT discussion due to Mike's opposition to the leaking of material.
Itchy's forum @ DT.net is a bit looser, but (to be frank) the level of
discussion leaves something to be desired. I guess what I'm asking is...

*Can we discuss mp3'd tracks from "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence" on
Ytsejam (spoiler warnings in effect, of course) or is there a "vail of
    silence" akin to SFaM?*

    Spoilers

    Spoilers

The Glass Prison - Killer song, balls and fucking chunk, reminds me
of ACoS, the heavy 7 string guitar of Awake with a bit of LTE
thrown in. Cool melodies throughout, James is right on and using his
voice a bit different. There are some 'scratching' sounds, but they
fit in perfect and hardly noticeable.

Blind Faith [edit] - My fave of the 3, killer vocal melodies and this
is only an edit. Can't wait to hear the full version.

Misunderstood [edit] - Again can't say too much about an edit, but
this is not too bad, a ballad, again great vocal melodies and some
nice stuff going on from JP.

All 3 for me sound exactly what I would want from my favourite, that
DT style with lots of new things thrown in to keep me interested.

I can't wait to get the whole album :/

Cool, whats the name of the band Paul? I know 420 monks (Bonz' rap group is also opening) Stuck Mojo is one of my all time faves, and i never got to see em live.

Anyways, we met Al for a second sitting outside the Roxy Theater before the Iced Earth/megadeth show. What a tour that was.

Well, i click on this link and works just fine Pam. And my bookmark works fine, as well when i type up the address. I can't give you the exact link to the interview, because, no matter what section i visit within the site, the link doesn't change in my browser....i dunno why. Maybe it was taken down some time, but let me know if you still can't access it.....'cause i have no problem doing so, even right now as i write this.
