Stephen Murphy on drums -- why does his name sound familiar?
Malcolm Gold ("the Mountain that Plays" :)) on bass
Angus Clark (as mentioned) on guitar. He's the one who played for
Kitaro, right?
What a splendid show, even if it DID lack a certain rubber chickeny,
fart-machiney ambience this year. :)

Next time, BUY one like I did. $10 was actually a fair deal, unlike the
CDs for $20 and the DVD for $30. :)

I was sitting next to Phil watching him do the narration along with Tony
Gaynor and thinking "how the FUCK does Phil know all this?" :)

Like I said, it was a great show. I got pics but most of them turned
out somewhat fuzzy since I was not using flash (what's up with that,
anyway?) I probably won't bother with a framing page, but the curious
can find them in the following directory:

I'm somewhat annoyed that I never got the previous issue of the 'zine
with the IOMA sampler CD, then I just got the new issue with 4DoRE in
it, along with a note saying my subscription has expired and they sent
the CD to me basically as a favor....meanwhile Kitby shows me as paid up
through this issue and the next. Must be that good ol' Dutch
mathmatics. Since I'm not really getting all 4 issues of the 'zine
anyway, I'm considering NOT re-upping for next year.
4DoRE is quite cool, though.

Yeah, they are growing on me as well. I really love the song Dreaming Neon Black, which I have on mp3, but so far DHiaDW is their only CD that I own. Unfortunately. However it is useful in drowning out the high volume of music that my brothers tend to plague the planet with. =)
They are great in concert too, let me tell you! Nevermore, not my brothers. The longest hair I have ever seen on a human being... so, so unfair!

Hi!
Hot news!! The ordering gate is open for our old demo tapes! You will find the link on our homepage (http://www.meet-superior.de/) under "Audio / Ancient Tapes". BUT: Before you go there, please read this to the end!
WHAT YOU WILL GET: ------------------ You will get 2 self-burned CDs (we do this ourselves) with 21 songs on them. The songs include live cuts and the music from 3 demos recorded between 1987 and 1992. The demos included are "Moral Alliance", "Bright as night" and "Timeshift". The music on the CD's has nothing to do with the music we do nowadays. It is 80's Power / Speed Metal.
The CD's will be signed by the band. CD's will be numbered by hand.
Please keep in mind that the music on these CD's is DEMO-Sound! We have done our best to remaster the stuff so that it should sound good enough though!
PAYMENT ------- The 2 CD's will cost you shipment. Shipment costs you I know this is expensive but the German post charges us that much so we can't lower the price.
Payment is only possible by wire-transfer. If you order, you will get an email back with detailed information about how money transfer has to be done.
SHIPMENT -------- Orders within Europe will be served immediately.
Orders from the USA will be collected until we have a reasonable number of orders (will vary between 30 and 40) to make a big parcel. The parcel will be sent to a person of our choice and this person will forward the CD's to you in the USA directly. This may take a while so please be patient! Everybody who has payed WILL GET A CD! There is no way we will rip you off your money!
ADDITIONAL OFFER ---------------- Besides the CD's we have a few Behind T-shirts left we would like to offer you for a cheap price because we want to get rid of them. We'd like to charge you you're interested in a shirt, you can order them at the same address as the "Ancient Tapes" CD's.
Ok, that's it! Now go there and have a look!! :)
Thanks for your support!!
Greetings
Bernd

Jammers,
Was wondering if anyone knows how to access the Geoff Tate website at www.geofftate.com. I'm not sure what you have to do when you get there to actually get into the site. And lately when I try to access it, I get one of those Windows boxes that asks for a username and password. Any help would be appreciated.

Begin rant...
I am not impressed with the Fan Club at the moment, basically for many reasons stated here. I get the last issue but it says I am expired. I sent Kirby (Nicole whatever) a check and she cashed more than a month ago. Ok, no biggie. I shoot her an email and am told I need to supply them with an email address? Gee, I figured my name would work. Ok, again no biggie. I give them 2 email address to check (not this one either!). Upon doing so I stated that she had cashed the check. This is all being told to Mike, whoever Mike is (I assumed husband or something). He says that if I know the check is cashed I am fine. OK, THEN WHY THE CANCEL NOTICE? All I wanted was someone to verify that they have the records updated. To this date, I have no reply back from him stating this. Sorry but if you got it all together, this kinda thing doesn't happen. So bitching on here is my next step I guess. :(
End rant.

Unless you overnight the application to Kirby, there's no way you'll be able to get this year's CD. She has to have everything IN HER LAP, as she says, by New Year's Eve.

I can help you on this one. I work in an IT department for an internet company doing QA. Geoff is having a security problem on whatever server has his website on it. That's why you get a user name/password box. Whoever is doing the hosting made a mistake obviously. I could fix it for him. :) The workaround is yo hit CANCEL on the popup box and you should get through.
Hope it helps. Rob ---- Begin Original Message ---- From: Krewzman@aol.com Sent: Sun, 30 Dec 2001 06:27:28 -0800 (PST) To: Multiple recipients of list <ytsejam@torchsong.com> Subject: www.geofftate.com

The HTML source on the page you get if you hit "Cancel" to that box gives the following contact information:
Kevin Scurlock: webmaster@geofftate.com
I'm guessing he's the guy to ask.
