You're right. I didn't take that into consideration. The
good thing would be we wouldn't have to invest hundreds of
dollars on an expensive screen. :)

It took me a while (as usual) but it dawned on me. In listening heavily to Mercury Rising's
"Building Rome" CD, they sound a good deal like Damn The Machine. This is a good thing of
course! It's a different kind of sound that DTM has as you all know. Anyone else find this
    similarity?

God thats such an awesome movie.

On the sepultura thread going, I love all their work., Roots s one of my
fave's/ Too bad yoko...i mean gloria had to screw over an awesome band.
Now look at what Speultura is doing: making thrashing metal again (new
album mar 20th same day as the dvd) and Soulfly made an album which is
more or less a rap album cause of the 20 million "special" guests on it.

    Check it out: http://www.numbersixdesign.net/ytseshirt.html

I put up the backs of the shirts, plus a fun-filled faq.

Next week I'm going to the shirt place and placing the order. It'll be
mostly XL's, with a bunch of XXL's, a few XXXL's perhaps, and a bunch of
mediums as well. But I also need to make some shirts for the girls, and
    I have one question.

My question is this: Girls, what's the most typical size you buy in a
t-shirt? For us guys, XL is the catchall size, but most of us guys are
trying to make our bodies look like one big rectangle. Most ladies like
to have something that actually fits. So I was thinking I would put in
for a few yellow and a few black, all medium. then if you wanted
anything bigger than that, the men's medium. Does that sound right?

answer me here or email me, i don't care. also, if anyone needs anything
other than XL or XXL and they haven't yet emailed me, please do so soon.
If you have, don't do it again, you'll just be screwing with me.

    Thank you!
    Josh

Um, have you even listened to the Soulfly album? It's great stuff. I'm not
sure how doing a whacked-out-balled with sean lennon or a thrash tune with
tom araya, etc etc etc qualifies as a "rap" song, but yeah whatever. :P As
for jumpthafuckup, it's one of the best songs I've heard from any band in a
long, long time. The album may have some newish guests on it, but if you
think it's "trendy metal" you're obviously either deaf or haven't actually
    bothered to hear it.

As for Sepultura...they're putting out tired, uninspired junk that doesn't
even come close. It's offering absolutely nothing new. How exactly can you
say that "roots" is one of your favorites and then be happy about sepultura
going back to sounding like their first album except with less creativity?

    Hello all, Important Message:

The progressive metal band Sun Caged is a band based in the south of the Netherlands (near Venlo), the band will be on a Dream Theater tribute CD pretty soon with the song "Caught In A Web (sang by Forever Times female singer "Laura v Driel"). Though the band does not have a full time singer at the moment, so the band is eagerly looking for a singer !!!

Male or Female doesn't really matter, we would love a combination of both (so maybe two singers) but one of those would be fine too, we can write the songs the way that it will be compatible with the voice we will get.

The style we are looking for though vocalwise is somewhere in between Nevermore, Faith No More, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, The Gathering, Pain Of Salvation, Marillion etc. This is also the way the band sounds, with some experiments to thrash metal (Meshuggah kinda riffs) to Fusion.

We have recorded a demo-CD in the past with three guestsingers, that demo we also used grunt vocals but we don't need a vocalist who does this since we will not use the grunts anymore, though if you want to check those songs out they are on mp3.com:

    http://www.mp3.com/suncaged

If you are interested or know a good singer for the band then please email me at: mcoenen@home.nl or give me a call: +31 650 206 206

The band has ex-members of the bands Lemur Voice and Within Temptation, and is a professional band, so no beginners please.

A CD will be recorded later on this year, and plans are discussed with recordlabels right now.

You can also view the band's official website at: http://www.suncaged.com

I am hoping for a lot of reactions !!

The album you're thinking of is Control Denied "The Fragile Art of Existence", and it is indeed a killer. Power metal meets technical-death, courtesy of death metal's daddy, Chuck Schuldiner. Do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Just read this cool tidbit of info and was thinking...wouldn't it be great if Rudess would collaborate with Michael Romeo on a solo CD? I mean, IMO, Romeo is the technical equivilant of Rudess (if you don't believe me, you've never a) heard the Dark Chapter or b) seen him live) and he's also got an immense amount of classical composing knowlage behind him (like Rudess). I definately think they could make an unbelievable album.

I think Vai would much rather fit with Rudess's style and Jordan has expressed his wish to work with him in the future, too. :)
