I have the following CDs for sale. I am looking to get all eight sold at
once. Quite the mix, eh ??

Marillion - Real to Reel (official live CD)
    Godsmack - Awake
Pantera - Official Live 101 Proof
    Incubus - Make Yourself
    Apocalypsis - No
    Stratovarius - Forth Dimension
    Creed - My Own Prison
    The Quiet Room - Reconceive

I will sell all 8 for US$55 postpaid in the USA (the postage should hit me
for US$8 alone....). As of now, I am looking for US buyers only but if you
are from abroad, let me know as well. As a bonus, I will throw in a CDR of
an instrumental band Xang "Destiny of a Dream". This is a great CD for
which I have purchased the real thing. If you like them, you must do the
honorable thing and get the real CD yourself.....

    First come, first served....

    Cheers,
    Mark Metzger

I don't know about you, but I can get a white shirt dirty by
simply looking at it wrong... Besides, can you imagine KorgX3
with a white shirt? Someone is bound to try and project a
movie on him.. "The Thing" in WideScreen!!!

To answer your question without quoting your dog's breakfast of a post is obvious. Roots is definately a more brutal album, more experimental and definately more tribal. I really like the way they moved from a formulated, predictable style of writing to the frenetic, tribal sound. Chaos is more formulated and probably easier to listen to for the average person who doesn't like music that's unapologetic and right up in your face.

If you say you like Roots but can't handle listening to the entire cd in one go, try listening in sections instead of always trying to start from track 1, it'll grow on you eventually.

In an attempt to make this a DT related post:- I'm hangin' for the Roseland DVD but keep having my hopes dashed every time I read that the release date has been pushed back. I've also learned that the QR - "Building Empires" DVD has been shelved indefinately. :(

There are major differences between Roots and Chaos (the last Sepultura CD recorded before singer/guitarist Max Cavalera left the band). On Roots, the guitar and bass are tuned down to B (this is when Max got into his "wow, I'm playing a 4-string guitar" thing), most if not all of the songs incorporate Brazilian tribal rhythms and percussion, there are some songs which feature native Brazilian tribes, and there's one song with Jonathan Davis from Korn. These may all be factors why you might not like it-Also, the album is fairly the same all the way through with the exception of two tracks; Jasco (a classical guitar solo, and a damn good one at that) and Itsari, which has a weird tribal chant backed up by classical guitar.

The closest album to Chaos in sound is Arise, if you get it, I suggest you get the remastered version; it's got an awesome cover of Motorhead's "Orgasmatron."

Hey, that'd be cool! I love that part where the dog's head splits right down the middle and the tentacles start coming out. That shit rocks. I also love the ending... how it leaves everything hanging. :D Fuckin' awesome flick. -- KorgX3 likes the guy's head with crab legs, too.

LOL, just wathed this silly teenage comedy. Anyone remember those movies? There were 2, 3 skiing movies, with some really great suicidal skiing dudes there.

This movie has some great shredi music, does anyone know if some big name plays, or what songs are these?
