It's actually quite simple. Kurt n James are the root. Now when you sign up you say whether you want to be a branch or a
leaf. And after the signup is done they will construct the branches of the tree considering your position on the globe. And
the leaves are added to branches if they are, say, on the same continent. K&J send the show (2 CDR's) to a branch, and the
branch waits response from you (assuming you are leaf) to set up a trade. Most probably you will send the branch 2 blank
CD's, when they get them they send you 2 burned Cd's of the show.
    Hope I helped a bit.

    Marko

    BTW Happy New Year guys!!

    |Please pardon my ignorance, but could someone explain
    |a little more how a boot tree works? I saw things
    |like leaves and branches and stuff and tried to figure
    |it out. I would definately love to have the technical
    |difficulty show, however I have no boots of my own to
    |trade.

In last year's Christmas CD, there's a video clip of DT at Beartracks Studios
(Originally recorded for the Italian fanclub), and Mike Portnoy visits JM's
room (It looks more like a dark bat cave) and he says exactly two things:
"Hey there." [shreds for 30 seconds]. MP" "OK, I think we're gonna go now."
JM: "See ya!" So there it is, the most enlightening Myung conversation ever!

Also, to be anal, when Bafu translated Dutch he did it slightly
incorrectly-"De antwoorden zijn altijd al aanwezig" (From Steve Vai's
'Answers' on Passion and Qarfare, in case ya didn't know) translates to "The
    answers are always already present."

Actually, having spoken to Myung quite a few times in person, he is quite
a personable guy. He's genuinely interested in what you have to say and he
just feels that he doesn't have to say too many words to convey what he has
    to say.
