    Steve...

    They're homepage is
    www.vanishing-point.com.au
It's a relatively new site and the samples are not up yet.
    You can try Napster.
Mp3.com only have a hardcore band listed with the same name.

    Paul.

I have a feeling some of y'all may appreciate this:

    http://anada.net/text/anada255.txt

The title is: "We Are Pantera Fans In Love," and it features poetry about
    many death metal/black metal/hair bands.

If you check out the rest of anada.net, there are several Chroma Key/Kevin
Moore files as well, such as "Chroma Cats," where the lyrics to a couple CK
songs were changed to accomodate the lifestyles of the author's cats.
There's a review of DAFR buried in there too somewhere, and a manifesto of
    kidnapping Kevin Moore.

    Amusement rules.

Yeah, his lyrics are absolutely dreadful, and that's being kind. At least on
the first 2 albums he was trying to write about stuff, but on the thrid one,
dear god. Rollin's lyrics are some of the worst ever written IMO.

hey there, with all this savoiur machine talk, it made me wonder: is
legend part III out yet? coming out soon? i haven't kept up with the
band's progress in a while, but last i heard (this was during this past
summer) legend III had snowballed into a 20-something track, 2-disc grand
finale. how incredible would that be? however, on the downside of
things, it may be the last album that the band ever does, for the sole
reason that the primary songwriter/singer erik clayton feels that after
this trilogy is finally complete, he feels that the band may have said all
that they want to say (musically & lyrically speaking). if that's the
case, than legend III will be the grand finale in more ways than one.

As far as your Saviour Machine question... Last I heard, Legend III will be
a double album, it was up for a "tentative" release in December but they
couldn't make it. It'll be out eventually, though, so I've got my eye out

    Hey all:

Okay, this is probably stupid, but I need to get a distortion box/pedal soon, because my amp distortion has no balls. I need a good box that can do harmonics (I love pinch harmonics!) and will give me a nice, smooth, crisp, semi-heavy distortion. Any suggestions on what to get? Also, my friend Will keeps telling me that you're supposed to run distortion pedals through the clean channel, which makes no sense because the drive channel was made for distortion, but which channel are you supposed to run it through? I've always run his pedal through my drive channel, and when he had my amp he ran it through the clean channel.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Later all,

Ah, time to come out of lurk mode. Type O and The Cure. That is actually a fairly decent description of their sound. They have a very epic, dark sound. The type of band who's albums you pretty much have to listen to straight through in one sitting to appreciate (especially the last two since they are part of a concept trilogy). Very interesting, thought-provoking lyrics. Good live show, too (at least when they can do it right). I met them for the first time about, Lord, I guess 7 years ago. Very friendly, approachable people.

P.S. For anybody in the St. Louis area, my band, Sunrust, will be participating in a battle of the bands Jan. 19 on campus at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, so come out if you're not doing anything. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
