Hey any QR fans left out there? :) I saw the Geoff Tate Band last night and they were pretty good. Some newer QR songs, some GTB songs (kinda Journey/BonJovish) and some remixed old QR (Thin Line, Della Brown). Even if you didn't really like QR's last 2-3 cds it was still a good rock show. (plus it was free) Anyway for those not in the fanclub, here is some news. There is a solo cd in the works. QR is playing in Seattle at the Moore Theatre July 27-28. They will be playing different sets and both nights will be recorded and videotaped for a double-live cd and a DVD! Fanclub tix are on sale now. General public tix on sale at TicketBastard at noon, Saturday.

The demo material Sebastian Elliott sent me....two years ago or so?...sounded really good, but my initial delight was tempered by the fact that they cancelled out on their performance at Dragon*Con with no more than two weeks' warning, and a bit of an attitude copped by Mr. Elliott. Yea, they're really good. No, they're not the best band in that genre. If you've ever received one of their emails containing 1 or lines of actual reply and their statutory 200-line hype footnote, you kinda know what I'm talking about. :rolleyes:
