That could be because of the spam, since sometimes it sets diferent colors
or fonts.....
but since you where the only one, maybe not.

virii.. what a word, btw. Sounds like something out of science fiction :)
>LOL. That and the fact that I can laugh at viruses are the reasons I use

>virii. Not that I've ever received one, but if I did, I'd sure as hell
>notice and delete it before I download it to my archive.
OH MY GOD!!! What have I been downloading to my archive?!?!?!! Oh
no!! My screen is exploding in zillions of different colors...gangrous
green... neon blue....and the worst... it's... it's..... that yellow from
the new ytseshirt!!!*
Well I don't use Outlook Express so if there are any virii (hehe) that are
more prone to attack that email client than any other, I'm still safe
(phew... maybe those colors were as a result of that last beer I drank..
anyone ever hear of one called Purple Haze? I shit you not. Pretty good
too). As for Unix, although I spend plenty of time maligning Windows, I
just am too lazy to switch over. Too much time and effort. And, oh yeah,
money. That too. Spent my last few bucks on the beer tonight. :)
hazing out,
Alex

In response to "Dark Majesty's" question about the floyd rose trem:
The instruction manual tells you that the arm should be parallel to the body
as a refrence to how much tension you need on your springs vs your strings.
if your arm is up too high, you need to tighten your strings and loosen your
springs in the back of the guitar. that will stabalize the arm and put the
bridge in playing position. having your bridge alligned incorrectly can
lower the life on your strings and also make the guitar suck to play. I work
at Guitar Center in Baltimore and I take in used Ibanez and Jackson guitars
all the time with poorly treated trem systems. It is a shame to see. Visit
jemsite.com and look at their suggestions for how to get your floyd rose in
perfect shape. if you get your trem set up right, you'll be able to flutter
much better.

Count me in.
I had several reasons to get a DVD player but this was the one that tipped
the scale...
<being able to make my own VideoCDs from my Camcorder tapes, MP3 playing
from CD-RW disks making my CD changer obsolete and of course better movie
quality than my old video are other advantages...>

Hey Jammers
Add me to the list of those buying DVD expressly for DT. Been thinking
about it but the Highly anticipated DT DVD pretty much nailed it.
Oh and since I'm here I sort of dig the sounds Jordan has with LTE and
DT especially the percussive stuff.
But hey what do I know.

I went to see Cathedral last night. They were really good, but they
forgot to play "Voodoo Fire" despite the fact that everyone had been
shouting for it all night.
There were three bands. The first was called "Ultimo Dragon" and they
were pure shite. The worst band I've seen for years. It was all just
distortion and feedback and the "singer" shouting incomprehensibly
into his microphone. And you couldn't even hear the snare drum. I'm
glad their set was short.
The second band was called Hangnail, and they were much better. Some
tunes and melodies but still head-bangingly groovy.
Of course Cathedral were last and were great.

The following is a public service announcement from the American Weekend-Entertainment Scrutinization Organization, Midatlantic Establishment (AWESOME):
Most of you probably know already, but the two big east coast (US) metalfests are coming up shortly. For those that don't, however, be sure to check out...
http://www.metalfest.com/ (Metal Meltdown III; Asbury Park, NJ; Fri 04/06 & Sat 04/07) http://www.metalandhardcorefestival.com/ (3rd Annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival; Boston, MA; Fri 04/13 & Sat 04/14)
A diverse load of bands at both, including a lot of imported big-names from Europe (inc. Cathedral/Primal Fear/Soilwork/Napalm Death at MM3, Dimmu Borgir/Meshuggah/The Haunted at NEMHCFest, and Opeth/Amorphis at both). 2-day passes to both are less expensive than a 1-day pass to the upcoming Ozzfest, assuming you're going with seats where you can actually see the bands (not that you'd want to).

Once you have a DVD player, you'll never go back to VHS. The leap in sound and picture quality, and convenience, is phenomenal.

I believe you are right... I've had cable TV for years, and on Tuesday I had Direct TV satellite hooked up...... DAMN... the picture quality alone is far superior. It makes the recent purchase of the 32 inch RCA TV worth it!!
No more cable for me, ever!
