If worse comes to worse, just use your Soundcard software's "Recorder" that will record to WAVE anything that goes through the soundcard.. Do that song by song and get your 78 mins and burn 'em.

For anyone in the Philadelphia area, I've been switching back and forth between sports talk and the Y100 morning show on the way in to work, and it seems some one at Y100 is a DT fan. For a while, they used the beginning of "914" from the LTE album as lead-in music from a break or at the end of a set of songs or whatever. Then yesterday I heard them using a similar bass line from the Queensryche song "Disconnected." And finally today, they used the beginning of Erotomania. Well I guess this is as close to good music as we're gonna hear from commercial radio, but it's better than nothing. As big as DT ever gets, they'll still always be the band playing the background music you hear on radio stations and the music you hear at hockey and basketball games.

Because they're a BITCH to play!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried one once, and apart from destroying my left hand, I found it almost impossible to fingerpick with any sort of consistancy - barely on a note level, let alone in terms of tone. Granted, as JR pointed out "You play it often enough and it eventually comes together", but I didn't have the patience or the pain threshold. They're fantastic-sounding instruments, but I think that for the money, I'd rather have a Stick.

So therefore isn't it great to be able to have a triple live cd to tide you over until early next year when the new album is released? Not to mention that the new Mullmuzzler is due soon too plus there's new Magna Carta projects in the wind as well. I think as DT fans we are damn lucky to have a band that releases material this often, studio albums, live albums, videos, dvd's, side projects... it's all good!!
