Sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear with my post. I was able to find the
above in the FAQ, but it doesn't really describe what the SDV actually looks
like. I wasn't after what the song is about, just what the vest is like :P

Pam gave me a bit of info, does anyone else have any clues?

Over the weekend, I noticed a great number of messages on this
thread. Just earlier, I stopped at a book store, and noticed
that Opeth is featured in a GuitarWorld article, so I made the
conjecture that was exactly what sparked this discussion. Now
I'm surprised to see that this was a seemingly unrelated
    mention.

I've been wanting to get my hands and ears on Opeth (and
probably fingers, too) since I first head it mentioned on this
list quite a while back, but never had the opportunity. This
thread has inspired me to tighten the belt and go out and check
    them out. Sounds really good.

Actually, over the years, many of us have had many complaints about admin activity. In particular, a lot of people deserted the list when it started filling up with flame wars and spam, and trying to get something done about it was like trying to get blood out of a stone. Eventually Skadz started paying attention, and sorted out the spam problem, but the jam never recovered from the lost membership and it remains in this semi-dead state. :-(

Yeah, no kidding. I'm not into Forums. But I have an idea where to get that MP gift, and unless someone else beats me to it, I'll get it shared with the rest of the list.

Oh I remember the flame wars (clone wars?) and even though the list traffic here is slow, many moved over to the Symphony X list and it's flourished for a long time. My CD catalog has multiplied several times over from discussions on the Symphony X list.

Hopefully as more people discover DT, more members will join here and we can get back to "the way it used to be".

Really? I thought the Symphony X list was nothing but noise. ;)

Ok, so it's got better traffic than this one... and sometimes more news.

    Neither are great, though. :)
