Another Dimension is an instrumental. They also played Hell's Kitchen in the middle of Burning My Soul, and Another Hand as the intro to The Killing Hand.

You need to learn your DT/LTE back catalogue, dude. :-)

(And trim your replies too, please.)

For those of you who think American Head Charge (a Slipknot-style variety of Nu Metal, only worse) is bad, check out a concert review in www.metal-e-zine.com. Find the bottom of the 'music' section and click on 'Metal Fest (After Forever, Orphanage and others)'. Guarenteed to make you cringe, or howl with laughter, or possibly both. Incidentally (yes, DT content!), the music section also contains a very favourable review of 6DoIT). -- \=-------- Richard Karsmakers -- rkarsmakers@planet.nl ---------=/ | P.O. There might be, but I personally wouldn't purchase a CD with bands playing Dream Theater songs. What's the point.

Word. Funny how DT may still be struggling to achieve the same level of writing (lyrically especially, I view Moore's lyrical contribution to their music as the biggest loss to DT), and at the same time Moore himself has degraded his own work as a solo artist.

I HIGHLY disagree... I actually like Chroma Key more than Dream Theater. It's all in preference... Chroma Key is not prog metal.

FYI, I just downloaded a boot of MoP from alt.binaries.mp3s.heavy-metal. It fuckin' rules. :)

    Hey all

With all the controversy that was stirred up with DT playing the entire Master of Puppets album, I wanted to get the overall opinion of the fans. So whether you appreciate the idea or not, I hope you'll respond. All the info can be found here:

    http://www.mikeportnoy.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10943

BTW, you don't have to be a member of Mike Portnoy's Forum to be a part of the poll - but please just respond one time (per person) as I want to get as accurate an opinion as possible. The poll will end March 1st at midnight PST.

    Hello again!

Just one little thing for those of you who do decide to respond to the poll, please keep in mind that DT did play over 2 hours of their material and covered the MoP album *in addition* to that! So for any of you who may have been under the impression that all they did was play Metallica stuff that night, that is *not* the case. I won't waste the bandwidth listing the entire setlist, but e-mail me privately and I'll send it to you, if you like. Or you could go to the tourography at Lines in the Sand (http://dreamtheater.mit.edu) and look at all the setlists from the tour so far, which I've got all up to date.

    Scott
