    while.

I think that DT wanted to get onto some good ol heavy/thrash metal to have a
good time (as I said before : especially MP and JP).
And let me tell you we all had a great time !
Playing another DT album all the way through, although amazing for us fans,
wouldn't be that different for DT ... just another set list.

    See ye...

What's happened to <http://www.ozdt.com>? I haven't been able to get
through to the site for several days (host not found).

I'm curious to know how the petition is doing...

DT got their start back in the late 80s. They were heavily influenced by metal bands, and their sound all along has shown it.

DT can be pretty much any band when they want to be ;)

I have to say that I find myself liking the new Chromakey stuff more than the latest DT, I reach for DAFR and YGN more than the latest DT. Its really sustained my interest better than DT. As a songwriter I would hardly say Moore has "stepped down". Whether you like it or not.. thats you opinion. I cant wait for more stuff from CK.

Woo! Thank you Summer! I'm not the biggest Metallica fan in the world, but this is really cool. I especially enjoy the crowd reaction/participation. Wish Jordan was a little louder.

Hello. I think I'd rather see DT do their own rare songs instead of hearing them do other band's albums, like somebody mentioned before. It would be great to hear songs like Afterlife, TOWHTSTS, OAMOT, Innocence Faded, LFAGA... Still, if DT would like to repeat what they did with the MOP album but with other classic albums from other bands, I suggest they do something by Iron Maiden next, preferably Seventh Son of a Seventh Son. That would kick so much ass that I think I would love to hear that as much as the rare stuff they never play. That's my favorite Maiden album and definitely a classic. Any other suggestions?

    Alexis

Yes, me too. In fact, I'd quite like to hear Iron Maiden play the whole of that album too. :-)

I heard Infinite Dreams on a jukebox around 1990, and that's what got me into progressive metal. Brilliant stuff.

I got MoP from here, courtesy of someone on the list, forget who exactly:

    http://hellfire.dusers.drexel.edu/~eleven/dtmaster.html

I'm not sure if there are other recordings of it. This one sounds good enough to make out what's going on, but there is a lot of noise from the crowd, so James's vocals are a bit hard to make out at times.

As for the Paris show, I couldn't tell you, haven't heard/looked for it myself.

It's back up and running again...

The new cd seems to be gaining some momentum on the local metal radio shows here in Oz and there seems to be quite a positive vibe from alot of people about the chances for the tour to happen... let's all keep our finger's crossed!!
