Tickets for the Milwaukee show are set at
    $23.50 (w/o Ticketmaster charges). That
    is an awesome price.

Yeah.. I got my in-dash CD player in my car back in 1994 and all of my CDs
are unscratched. You have to really try hard to scratch a CD anyway.

Is there anyone from the Minneapolis area heading over to this show since it
doesn't look like there's gonna be one here? I am trying to determine
whether I should head over there to catch the show or if I should just skip
    it this time around.

Yeah, try to make a VHS copy of it for your own
personal use. If it doesn't work, keep returning it
until you find one that you can record... ;o)

Haha! Truly a follower of Bob Villa and his new age carpentry, eh? New shelves
for the growing catalog of music CD's that seem to be accumulating in
everyone's collection (except mine, finances not withstanding). Anyhow, dude,
thanks for the kind words. I'm still attempting to maintain some promotion of
my CD, pre-DT SDoIT, lol. Feel free to visit the old VIRTUALITY website, and
send me an email (see address above, as so below). I'm already working on music
    for CD #3...

And MP, I agree with your comment about supporting your local small businesses.
It's worth the small increased cost of a CD in the long run. I suppose many
corporate stores would vehemently disagree with that, but considering the
integrity of, say, Joe Blow's Records in WIndy City Chicago, I would and try to
patronize smaller, individual stores, whenever possible. Then again, it's a
matter of choice. Too often the small stores are getting driven out of town by
the next Best Buy or Wal-Mart, for an inferior (generally) product and service
    selection.

Another thing, I think the "new" WDaDU" is just a re-issue? Re-mastered, I
don't know, but that;'s what I've been hearing.

Now I'm counting the days until THE TWO TOWERS. But I will NOT be camping
outside any local theatre's contrary to unpopular belief...

I am in the same boat(trying to decide between waiting to see if there is a
Minneapolis show or planning a road trip). I am thinking of waiting since
Mike P said at his clinic that there was a mid March date penciled in at the
    State Theater in Minneapolis.

Hmm, I've had a Sony 10-disk changer in back for about three years --
it's only skipped once due to car vibration, and that was on a
topsy-turvy gravel road. I've had a few issues with the Sony head unit
but overall it's fine. I got a unit that has a flipdown removable
faceplate with a cassette deck behind it, very cool digital display,
etc. Price was $350 for BOTH at www.autotoys.com.

When both the head unit and the changer were stolen 6 days after they
were installed (moral: don't EVER give the folks at the installation
place your home address), and State Farm asked me the details on the
units to arrange their free replacement, the price they quoted as the
replacement cost for both units was FAR above what I paid....their phone
rep. was flabbergasted at the low price I paid. I recommend the
website wholeheartedly -- they even send you an installation and specs
guide. www.autotoys.com is actually Sound Conceptions' online
    website. :)

As for losses when your car changer is stolen..... -I- learned from
painful experience, and I'll only put "common" CDs and burned CD-Rs in
the changer from now on. :)

99% of the time I buy my CDs from the cheapest source. The main exception is are when I find something I really really need and can't wait to find it cheaper. This will be happening on Monday: I'm going to buy 6DoIT in the first shop which has it in stock, regardless of the price! Only five days to go...

Yes, the second ARK CD "Burn the Sun" is much better than the first. I love both ARK CDs, but the second one is definitely better than the first one.
