I pre-ordered to support the band's position on CD Now, AND I am purchasing TWO copies on the Saturday before at my local FRANCHISED (and nameless, due to street-date breaking) CD shop. One's for a co-worker.

It's always good to have a wrapped, first print to keep in storage J-I-C. Good thing I had that philosophy with LSfNY.

Hey Zach, well, I vehemently disagree about your indicating FW should leave their new stuff behind. The people i know who dislike it, do so for the most part of their (FW) tendency to experiment with modern technology, foray into intricate conceptual pieces, and vere occasionally into
techno/industrial territory, which I concur, but also see as the saving grace for many progressive/metal bands (DT included, here!). A little evolution and assimilating the modern conventions of music never hurt a band, especially in a genre known as 'progressive' music, with, interestly enough, tends
to adhere to past principles and stagnate, somewhat, in my opinion, therefore not actually 'progressing' at all, but rather 'rehashing'.

Anyhow, just my opinion. One of the best FW songs ever is on Disconnected, "One". Incredibly melodic, heavy, yet still maintains the esssence of Fates Warning.

Ah yeah, my rant about Ticketslavemaster and prices is well-founded, and the slams aimed at those greedy bastards, of course, well deserved. Their voracious appetite for unregulated money via unnecessary and ambiguous 'surcharges' just boils the old blood. But enough of that, alas, I am trying to
    maintain my own serenity here!

Good day everyone. Looking forward to SDoIT, although I have to wait for CDNOW to send it to my old address and get it forwarded to my NEW Address.

If you guys don't listen to Eddie Trunk on WNEW in New York, you are all
missing out. He regularily plays dream theater and other cool metal bands
on his show. On his Friday night Rocks show, he played six degrees of
turbulence in its entirety, the song I mean. I missed it, unfortunately,
but he has been playing tracks off of 6DOIT regularily. So, if you can get
Saturday night rocks or Friday night rocks form 102.7 f.m. in new york,
listen in on Friday and Saturday nights and he plays DT, very often.
