Well, I maybe forced to jump in on this topic considering VIRTUALITY falls well
within the loosely defined bounds of Space Rock (although, I prefer the term
    'Ambient Neo-Progressive Cyber Rock', natch!).

I've yet to hear Aryeon, but I am trying to get ahold of Arjen evena s we type,
to get some idea of what to look forward to.

Well, the fatefull day is almost upon us. I honestly can't say 'The event of the
year' (which will probably be ATTACK OF THE CLONES & SPIDERMAN as much as LORD OF
THE RINGS was the event of last year, and probably my favorite movie, ever), but
I am looking forward to this CD more than any Rush CD in recent memory...

I've avoided downloading any of the songs following the posting of those 3
radio-edited samples a few months back and the OLV single, so that should enable
me to objectively and without an extreme amount of bias, kick back and enjoy the
CD in it's entirety. I've also switched to LURK mode for much of the discussions
here and there regarding the song(s) and CD itself, from the people who have
heard most if not of of VAPOR TRAILS over the course of the last few weeks.

That said, my semi-purist take on the propaganda and exposure to the NEW Rush has
been successful, as I really have a fairly impartial perspective of which I will
kick back, with *cold* Dr. Pepper Tues. evening, and perhaps kick up the incense
and candles, and slide thedisc into the ready & willing CD player, a
perfunctionary introductory listen to the CD in it's entirety, and then the
REPEAT button until the wee hours of the morning.

And then ENGINE: Superholic is released May 21st.... (What about the Jim Nabors/
Eddie Murphy/Kathie Lee Gifford duet? I plead ignorance... I know nothing about
    it)

Well, for those that didn't know, Russel Allen, singer of Symphony X, does
indeed work at Medieval Times as a knight. That is his "day job". Pretty
damn cool. We have one of those in Dallas that I've been to. Great evening
of food and entertainment. Heath Ledger ain't got shit on Russel Allen lol
