Yeah there were some mistakes in the shooting as explained my MP......the
gun used was a .9mm those didnt exist back then.

Some of the effects used really piss me off, I dont like all the
pyschodelic stuff during the dance of eternity. Plus why the hell was
that cameraman placed on stage like that by MP's kit. I know we all wanna
see MP go, but man that was awful.

For those who wanna see how to really shoot a show, buy the megadeth dvd.

You've also gotta remember that they have to write lyrics about the events
that fit with the music. How are you going to rhyme "handwriting" and
"fingerprints"? Is it a bit cheesy? Yeah. But it'd be pretty tough to
describe in detail every aspect of the investigation.

            Um.

    1928.
    Prohibition.
    Gangsters.
    Police Corruption.

Do any of these things ring a bell? If so, then do you think that a
Senator would have any problems getting the police to report the story the
way he wanted it? The police were in control of what information the
newspapers received, including the identity of the witness. And for the
record, you not being able to come up with a plausible explanation does not
    mean there isn't one.

WOOOW!! I'm speechless! This has to be the best lineup for a project
since... eh... well, since gordian knot - emergent (which isn't even
    released yet!!)

Speaking of GK2, anyone else beside me who is counting the days till it is
released? (although no releasedate has been set ;) )

But.... Daniel! and Kevin Moore!!! Ah, can't wait for this one to be released!

     From Master Malone's website:
there will be an announcement soon of a new project that will be recorded
this summer. I'm not allowed to reveal the players just yet, but it's a
project involving some people whose names won't be unfamiliar to you

I think I went into shock when I read that. I never thought we'd see
Kevin's name again. I would love to hear what comes out of this.

Ok, everyone clean themselves off! Fates Warning has a new line-up. Should be good. The biggest effect (difference from FW) will be Daniel G. on vocals. Consider everyone else studio musicians, playing basically what Jim has written. These guys will probably never be in the same studio at the same time...

The 1928 claim may have some validity, but to imply that because it's made up that it doesn't have to make sense??? Why bother to have a story line if you're not intending it to be internally consistent?

    Hey all

I'm looking at clearing out some of the CDs I no longer have a need for and/or don't listen to. Included among these CDs are a bunch of real SILVER bootleg CDs - these are NOT CDR copies.

Additionally, I also have a bunch of CDR bootlegs that are duplicates that I received from other people or just don't want as a part of my collection (redundant setlists, poorer sound quality, etc.) and a handful of promotional CDs.

What I'd like to do is sell off the CDs and silver boot CDs and to offer these CDR bootlegs and promo CDs as a little bonus - the CDR boots are especially nice for those who are trying to get into bootlegs, but as yet have not.

In case you are wondering why I don't just sell these on eBay, I don't want to go thru the hassle. And if you are wondering why I don't sell them to a used CD store, I want to get more than just a dollar or two for each CD! ;-)

If you are wondering what shape the CDs are in, I can assure you that they have been taken well care of and have absolutely minimal scratches, if any at all (which is highly unlikely). Some of the CDR bootlegs aren't in as great a shape (tho they are playable) but this is because of the person(s) I received them from - not myself.

So if you see something on the list below that you are interested in, here's what you need to do: 1) E-mail me (setlist_scotty@hotmail.com) with "CDs you are selling" in the subject line 2) Let me know what you are interested in 3) Tell me what bootleg CDRs and/or promo CDs you would like - make sure to list five choices as once they are gone, I will NOT be making additional copies of these. I will then e-mail you about where to send the money, etc. I will not be able to accept personal checks, so please send a cashier's check (US funds only), a postal money order or cash (altho I will NOT be held responsible if it gets lost in the mail).

If you have any questions about the CDs, feel free to ask. Note: I realize that some of you will be wondering about the sound quality of some of the bootleg CDs (both the silvers and the CDR copies) - while I'm more than happy to answer questions about the silver CDs, please don't ask about the CDRs - I'm throwing those in as a bonus - do a little research - I'm sure you'll find some info on those CDR boots. ;-)

If you are thinking "how DARE you sell bootleg CDs!" I will remind you that these are SILVER CD bootlegs - not CDR copies. These things are becoming much more rare and harder to find. These are more for collectors than for anyone else. And if you question why they are more than regular CDs, it is because they are out of print and much harder to come by - keep in mind that bootleg CDs used to cost $25 for a single CD and $50 for a 2CD set, so I'm not asking THAT much.

As to the costs, I'm asking $7 for each regular CD (except Alive on Planet Earth which I'm asking $11) and $12 for the silver bootlegs (except Lords of Sound, which I'm asking $20). Please note that these costs INCLUDE the bonus CDRs/promo CDs AND shipping in the US and Canada - if you are from another country, I'll have to find out how much it will cost to ship the CDs to you.

Here are the CDs I'm selling:

Regular CDs at $7: Alex Skolnick - The Skol-Patrol Crystal Method - Tweekend Paradise Lost - Draconian Times Jaye Foucher - Contagious Grooves Superior - Behind Enchant - A Blueprint of the World Event - Electric Skies Eternity X - The Edge Attention Deficit - s/t (autographed by Michael Manring)
