I've been listening to The Odyssey more than a week and it's probably one of
the best cds from 2002 (tied with SB's Snow)

The cd is very heavy and IMHO it kicks "V" ass. Some riffs like the intro of
"Wicked" and the main riff off "Inferno(unleash the fire)" are the heaviest
riffs ever created by M.J.Romeo. Big influences from Dimebag from Pantera.
Accolade II is beatiful, they really recreated the atmosphere from the
original. My favorite tracks are "Inferno", "king of terrors", "accolade
    II" and "wicked"

My only complaint is the guitar sound, sounds like MJR recorded with a POD
    pro :-/

So much for you having sharp ears. I can tell you that MJR didn't use the
    POD pro for the cd.

Guitar sound is upfront and crunchy. Perhaps you'll like it even more when
the real product is out in stores ;)

I never wanna see that mentioned here again. As Rich Ward put it:

Phish sucks, Jerry's Dead, Get a Job.

I hate "stoner hippie rock", almost as much as rap and country.
