Hmmm... Somebody mentioned setting up an ftp server for just this list.

If I can find a bootlegged copy of Bulletproof FTP, I may be able to swing
something like that w/ my roadrunner account. Compared to the old LiTS, it
would suck, but compared to nothing, it would be good. I don't have a domain
name or anything, so you'd have to use my IP address.

As long as the info didn't get out past this list, I don't think bandwidth
would be that big a deal. I could probably handle about 5 people at a time.
Maybe a few other people could set up something similar and we could compile
a list of ytsejam ftp servers.

You guys just have to promise not to hack it, since my knowledge of network
security is quite lacking. :-) I'll look into it more tonight.

I guess that means you'd never find out, eh?

"would suggest someone if possible put up an FTP just for this list. I've
seen it done before on other lists. The login and stuff is only for members
of this list exclusively, and nobody else. That way only a handful of people
need / want at a time, and they can get access to stuff that people
    recommend to each other."

If anybody wants, I don't know if I could run an FTP, but maybe a Hotline
server? I could only serve 3 or 4 shows at a time though due to hard drive
space, but it would be ok if it were just for us Jammers.

Special Defects does indeed kick ass. The only slight problem it has is the same problem Messhuggah has, which is that the vocals for almost all songs sound pretty much the same. But the problem here is much less noticeable than on Messhuggah's last album (only one I've heard). Special Defects is waaaay more interesting and wicked than Messhuggah's last one. By the way, which version of the cd did you get? Because the second version does not have the church organs. And I think the second version has 2 bonus songs, although the first one has some songs that were edited out on the second one. Also, the first one is, if I'm not mistaken, one whole song with no indexes, wheras the second one is indexed into songs for easier navigation.

The one I got was one full song... about 49 minutes long.

Being that they are still on tour, I think January/Feb is a realistic time we can expect em back in, with the album maybe out in the fall/winter? They seem to be following a pattern since SFAM, with a fall release then winter/spring/summer tours.

Based on your description, I believe I have the second version with
bonus tracks and indexes. Any idea if "Version 3.33" means anything or
is that just part of the title, printed on all versions?
