On another note, I think Ray and the boys are some of the nicest/coolist
band guys I have ever met...

I totally disagree with the negative comments of the official bootleg from
1998. While James is not at the top of his game, he never really was on the
fii tour, the CDs are awesome in my opinion and I love mine greatly. I
can't wait for more.

I think James sounds surprisingly good on that recording, considering it was their third night in a row of playing 2+ hour sets (5/16 in SF, 5/17 in LA, and 5/18 again in LA which was recorded). I was at all three shows, so having this recording is thrilling.
I'd like to give a so-called "shout out" to Dr. Mosh for letting me crash at his place and Jon Kretchmer for letting me cut in line before the show.
