Huh...I just checked it too and see what you are talking about. They must
have changed it during the past week, because it was free then.

Still, only $1 shipping is hard to beat.

Dr. Mosh, there are going to be 2 releases from Devin Townsend: 1 cd by Strapping Young Lad and 1 cd by the Devin Townsend Band. The SYL will be aggressive cold stuff, whereas the DTB will be emotional more experimental stuff (I think he calls it futuristic pop, check out www.hevydevy.com). I'm not that much into the SYL style, but I just love what Devin has done on his own.

Oh, and nobody has mentioned yet what the hell is on those Forbidden Dreams 6 cds.....

What's the title of it again? I may have it.

I've got the new Strapping Young Lad and Marty Friedman, but haven't
    listened to them yet.
Will give them a listen over the weekend.

Oh my God!!!!!!!!!!! I am listening to a new song that's going to be in the
next Devin Townsend Band album and it's amazing!!!!!! The name of the song
is "Storm" and you can access it through Devin's site www.hevydevy.com Devin
sounds so awesome when he's singing cleanly, always mixing it with a bit of
aggression. This guy has a voice that expresses so much emotion. And the
music is great and very emotional as well. Now I really can't wait for it
    to be released...

Good question. I'm interested to know how it is. In fact, I'm interested
in knowing how any Arena is. They've intrigued me, but I haven't purchased
    anything from them yet.

Prog rock, their earlier stuff was like older Marillion.
Now they seem to have developed their own style, somewhat.

    You will find samples.

I dunno how I would describe them. The keyboardist Clive Nolan composes most of the songs I believe, and Mick Pointer is sitll the same drummer from the original lineup of Arena back when "Songs from the Lions Cage" was released. The songs are very orchestral at times, the guitars doing a variety of things, particularly sounding great. Their lyrics are also interesting to read. Their last album "Immortal?" has their current singer Rob Sowden, and "The Visitor" features their older singer, whose name I somewhat forget =/ I think the Visitor is a concept album boot... Check them out, I say... ----- Original Message ----- From: Rick Rosinski To: Multiple recipients of list Sent: Friday, February 07, 2003 9:29 PM Subject: Re: arena?
