Well, how about Manring? Or Sean Malone? Or Victor Wooten? :) That
could be B3-2 right there.
Although I'm pretty sure that a lot of people will see "B3" and think it's
a Hammond convention. ;)

Fave WDADU song = Only a matter of time....that bit of
slightly syncopated vocals that Dominici has on there
has never quite been matched by KJLB, and OaMoT might
be my favorite DT song as well.
Ra = I just picked that up at Best Buy for 9.99
Pagan's Mind = prog? No not really. More of a
technical power metal act, with a vocalist that comes
from a John Arch/Midnight (Crimson Glory) point of
view without being as good as either (my opinion)
it's ok, but I'm not among those who would hype it to
high heaven.

Uh oh... thought I was up to date. Who's Harris? I would take Malone as the third B anyway...

The RIAA are still trying to push runny shit up hill. They will lose.
I'm baffled as to why they are still attempting the stop the freight train of IT revolution, rather than hopping aboard and making it work for them. Music distribution will change, whether they like it or not.
Here in Australia, the latest attempt is to put a levy on blank CD-R purchases to stop music piracy - what a joke. This is the second time it's been attempted, last time it was rejected because it smelt too much like a new tax, but now they're saying it's a 'levy'.
Hmph....

Hello Jammers:
I will make a trip to the US in a week and I save some money to buy some good Prog or prog oriented CDs, and I was thinkin' about some, but to be honest, there are some bands that I never have hear before. Some bands are well reviewed in this list by you but I was thinkin' by myself in some titles like:
Platypus - Ice Cycles Pain of Salvation - Remedy Lane Meshuggah - Nothing Porcupine Tree - In absentia California Guitar Trio - +2 Gordian Knot - Emergent Opeth - Deliverance or Black Water Park Flower Kings - Unfold the future Planet X - Moon Babies
Don't think that I'm on a big budget. I'm asking you to make some recomendations because of this, And I want to invest my money the best way I can. So, what do you think? which ones are your better picks? There's other CDs apart from this list that worth to invest in it? (too sad OSI will be released 'til mid feb)
I hope you can help me with this, or at least to help me avoid a nervous breakdown!

I can echo that. I also really like Deliverance, and Ice Cycles (it's not technical, but it has a cool vibe and some good songs).
As far as Porcupine Tree goes, I'd say just buy everything of theirs! Unlike a lot of people, I don't think In Absentia is their best, but their albums are all so good it doesn't matter anyway... Bring on the London gig!

Order it from www.theendrecords.com too. They have it for $12 with free shipping. I just ordered mine late last week and will hopefully have it tomorrow.

Being someone who likes all sorts of prog-y-ness, I personally like Remedy Lane, Nothing, CGT, Opeth, FK and PX. I'd say buy all of them if you have the cash. =)
