I think that the show I would love to see the most would be B3 (instead of G3). My dream lineup would be: Michael Manring, Victor Wooten and Dave LaRue. That would be like being in heaven.

And Carlos, having your cd collection stolen from your car is the main reason for NEVER having your whole cd collection in your car. I always take the few ones I feel like listening to and that's it. The rest just stay at home where they're safe from burglary.

I've been slacking on posting this because I wanted to add some stupid
dialog to each album entry, but since I've come to accept that I am
not a writer, I'll just leave you with the list.

These are my favorite releases of 2002 based on frequency of play, and
not based on whether I think something is actually good (as anybody
who knows me knows that I listen to a lot of music that sucks.)

So here go you, in somewhat particular but not particularly particular
order, my favorite 20 of last year's releases:

    1. Soilwork "Natural Born Chaos"

    2. Killswitch Engage "Alive or Just Breathing"

    3. Dream Theater "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence"

    4. Devin Townsend "Terria"

    5. Freak Kitchen "Move"

    6. Spock's Beard "Snow"

    7. Craig Armstrong "As If to Nothing"

    8. Vanden Plas "Beyond Daylight"

    9. Porcupine Tree "In Absentia"

    10. Flaming Lips "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots"

    11. Bumblefoot "Uncool (re-release)"

    12. Kevin Gilbert "The Kaviar Sessions"

    13. Symphony X "The Odyssey"

    14. In Flames "Reroute to Remain"

    15. Wayne "Music on Plastic"

    16. Peter Gabriel "Up"

    17. Angra "Rebirth"

    18. Pain of Salvation "Remedy Lane"

    19. Chevelle "Wonder What's Next"

    20. Superior "Ultima Ratio"

Discussion is encouraged. Apologies if I am dum and something in the
    list isn't actually from 2002.

Finally someone lazy like me =)
I guess I should put in my 2 cents.

    my comments:
Terria came out in 2001. Heard a few KSE songs, they're good! Otherwise, I never heard of several of those CD's on your list.

    those I think you're forgetting:
    Opeth- Deliverance
    Magellan- Hundred Year Flood
    Vanden Plas- Beyond Daylight
    Flower Kings- Unfold The Future

Geddy Lee. :) I'd be flexible on the other two, but Geddy must be
    present.

wow, i don't even know where to start. not to say that i don't agree with
ALL the previous mentions, but it makes you wonder where guys like Billy
Sheehan, Stu Hamm, Tony Levin, Lee Sklar, & Les Claypool fit. damn, maybe
we should just forget sticking to form & just present a "B8" or "B10". be
    a WHOLE lot easier.......... :)
