    Just for the record:

Last night lurking around TV, I stopped in Mtv2 to a program called extreme rock, and to my surprise they were airing a short version of Porpcupine Tree's Strip The Soul video! I guess they aired the video 'cause this people are clueless about the recordings of the group before the In Absentia album, and they might think PT are from the nu metal wave. (due the change of path to a more heavy mood the band has taken in this album)

The video, IMHO is like TOOL style, in old black and white TV, and with some footage of the members of the group at the end of the video.

Did anybody saw it too? I hope so.

    Hey jammers,

I've been a fan of DT for only a year or so, and even if I consider myself pretty DT-savvy already, there is a question that has been nagging me for quite a while now: Is Puppies On Acid really just the first to minutes of The Mirror? Whats the story on that?

Oh and BTW, can you guys tell me if the DTIFC reaches Argentina, and how much it costs? I definitely want to join now, after all that talk on the 'jam :)

Yep, you're right. I remember reading that when they play the intro riff to The Mirror (like on OiaL), they call Puppies on Acid. ----- Original Message ----- From: Eduardo Ojeda To: Multiple recipients of list Sent: Wednesday, January 15, 2003 1:21 PM Subject: Puppies on Acid

Chad, I've just received it!!! Really cool!! This is the first fanzine I get and I'm impressed, lots of photos from the tour, really good quality and an incredibly good CD.

I'm glad I finally joined the DTIFC!

    Quick question of opinion...

The Iced Earth Album, "The Dark Saga" (1996) is a stunning musical and lyrical tribute to the story of "Spawn" of comic-book and movie fame. It's a really cool, dark tale actually and the album compliments the movie nicely.

Now given that, should I decide to have a friend of mine enjoy a "Spawn" night with me, should the album come before or after the movie?

    Any opinions are welcome!

    - Dave
