Why whatever do you mean about BS on the mp.com forum? I know of no such thing at all....

Oh yeah definitely. I'm not saying this is good or bad, it's just not
what I'm interested in. But obviously the forum people over there don't
mind the amount of noise produced... It's just that people like me (and
I would guess I'm not alone) would still prefer the old-fashioned
mailing list.
On a sidenote: I re-discovered Angra last week. I was (and still am) a
HUGE fan of Holy Land, which is one of the finest discs ever produced
IMO, but Fireworks disappointed me. Then with all the band members
shenanigans I thought that would be the end of them. Out of curiosity I
bought Rebirth last year, but it didn't do much for me. I gave it
another spin last week and now I come to realise the disc isn't that
bad after all. Sounds like a cliche but this on really grew on me the
last week, and now it's constantly in my G: drive. You guys/gals get
that sometimes that you only start to like a disc a year or more after
purchasing it? Makes me start to wonder what other hidden gems I got in
my CD collection.
Finally: a small poll maybe (to revive the list a bit): what albums
have you bought that you were really disappointed with? My (fortunately
short) list:
-Timescape: Two worlds
-Time Machine: Eternity Ends
-Talamasca: Projection
-Pain of Salvation: Remedy Lane (before you start flaming: I dig The
Perfect Element)
-Explorer's Club: Raising the Mammoth
There's probably more, but I tend to forget about them...
Peter
NP: Angra - Rebirth
Requiem - The Arrival
