ahhhh, the drum work. that's what makes that track shine, in my opinion.
with portnoy's new setup (though slightly excessive), he really created
some impressive new textures on that album. what hit me most was all the
intense, & diverse, cymbal work. some of the patterns he laid down are
simply a pleasure to listen to. being a drummer, though, i may be biased
in more ways than one.......:)

Personally I love Petrucci's guitar sound in the whole song, and also JR's piano solo..
