Actuallllly, its the spam filter killing off all the MIME content :) I
should look to see if I can make that a LITTLE cleaner.

Yeah right, but if you DO want a new cd like that it is the new one from Ron Jarzombek(Watchtower, Spastic Ink) called "Solitary Speaking of Theoretical Confinement". It is 45 short tracks of really sick insane stuff like weird time sigs and/or odd scales, etc. It blows me away and I don't even play guitar........ > I'm beginning to think you're not serious!

OK, you guys want the real info ??

After the mail dropped in I rang JM. After 20 minutes I got a "hi" out of him and the confirmation thats it's 4 disks long ;)

So after that I decided to ring MP. He wanted to keep the secret ;)

So finally I rang JP. So it'll be 4 discs long. With 3 discs as CD's just as Mike (Shetzer) said. The last disc is a musical DVD with a 400 minute drum solo ;)

    Satisfied ? ACBLF

PS : I just hope it'll be another master piece. I know there's no reason to be afraid but every time they're in studio I am. During the 6DOIT wait, I was happy to get my hands on TGP so as to relax a little :) I guess the unknown frightens us all.

I don't know whether I'd get my hands on demos again before the album was released. I listened to the Blind Faith and Misunderstood edits before the release, as well as watching all the making of videos.. but by the time I listened to the album, I knew too much of it.

Blind Faith is still my killer track of 6DOIT... I think it's just a step above everything else..

That might actually be due to me... I posted news on the jam regarding that CD back in january when it first came out. Ron's a great guy, we exchanged emails a few times and is quite down to earth. I bet his great CD sold like 10 copies so far =D ----- Original Message ----- From: TREVOR HOIT To: Multiple recipients of list Sent: Thursday, March 13, 2003 12:39 AM Subject: 67/64

I picked up Everygreys new CD yesterday, after 1.5 listens I can tell already that I am going to keep this disc around for a while. I will need to read the lyrics since other reviews that I have read make the music sound a lot deeper than what I heard on my first listen. In fact, some of the music reminded me of Whitesnake (don't flame me please!) and early DT. The singers voice is great and the musical ability of the band seems top notch. I'll post a better review after I have the songs solidified in my crazy head. Any other opinions out there? Anyone have their previous CDs? Which of them are worth getting next?

Please buy In Search of Truth as soon as possible. It's their last release prior to Recreation Day, and it's a concept piece about alien abduction. It's a must own, in my opinion.

I should receive my copy of Recreation Day today, but I can tell you from what I heard of it back in November at ProgPower 3(two full listens, one with Tom Englund(lead singer) at my side/behind me), I like this one even more. I'm not sure about the Whitesnake reference, but I also heard shades of DT influence in spots, particularly in Tom's vocal lines and harmonies. I'm dying to hear it all again.

    That's all for now. Kez

niall, i'll jump on that bandwagon. blind faith is probably my fav from the 6DOIT set as well. something about the way it builds, plus the instrumental section is absolute genius, IMHO.

speaking of the "making of" vids that were on the site before the release of 6DOIT, does anyone have those saved on their `puter?? any chance of posting them online temporarily to share with those of us that weren't fortunate enough to be able to view them before?? it would be much appreciated, believe me. lemme know.

I agree completely. And I would also recommend Solitude, Dominance, Tragedy, the release before In Search of Truth. Evergrey is a very solid band. I haven't heard their debut album yet though.

i subscribed to the mailing list the other day, so forgive me for not being up to date. from what i've read, it seems as though the next dt album will be a couple of very long songs. i must admit that i am a little disappointed, but not very surprised. i was hoping for less epic sagas and more 6-12 minute songs. but, as i said in the mirror, they could do a cover of a carpenters album and i would buy it. off the dt subject: i just bought a copy of the spocks beard dvd "don't try this at home". 300 minutes of good stuff on 2 discs plus a cd. money well spent. jacko

Any information that has been posted about the next album is either jokes or wild speculation. They just went in to the studio on March 10, and are writing and recording in the studio, so, likely, even the band doesn't know what the album is going to end up being.

I still have all the videos (including the original of Blind Faith with the upside down lyrics, etc... don't ask me why :P)... I don't know if I have a place to put them. I get a whopping 10 meg of space from my ISP, and I think it gets me into shit if it gets hammered too hard. If you're on ytsejamDC, I have joined that (though not logged in yet), or I could post to a newsgroup, which would let everyone grab them without hammerring my connection (yay, 3GB cap).
