Hey Christin, ever been to PP before? It's a total blast. Though the tequila there is lethal, I hear... ahem...

A lot of other people are looking forward to that SX tour also. :)

LOL! Well, Kez, if you weren't always so busy looking for that damn umbrella, we might have actually gotten to hang out. Though based on last year's experience you may want to practice sign language ;)

Yeah, you're right. I would much rather wait until after Saddam finishes building his nuclear bomb, drop a couple on us, and destroy a few major U.S. cities in the process. Or would that still be considered a little too hot-headed?

9/11 wasn't enough of a wake-up call for us I guess, gotta have a few more, huh?

I just can't write anything about DT...the circunstances made me do this:

Bob Dylan - Masters of War

Come you masters of war You that build the big guns You that build the death planes You that build all the bombs You that hide behind walls You that hide behind desks I just want you to know I can see through your masks

You that never have done nothin' but build to destroy You play with my world like it's your little toy You put a gun in my hand then you hide from my eyes Then you turn and run farther when the fast bullets fly

Like Judas of old you lie and deceive A world war can't be won, and you want me to believe But I see through your eyes and I see through your brain Like I see through the water that runs down my drain

You that fasten all the triggers for the others to fire Then you sit back and watch while the death count gets higher You hide in your mansions while the young people's blood Flows out of their bodies and gets buried in the mud

You've thrown the worst fear that can ever be hurled Fear to bring children into the world For threatening my baby, unborn and unnamed You ain't worth the blood that runs in your veins

How much do I know to talk out of turn You might say that I'm young, you might say I'm unlearned But there's one thing I know, though I'm younger than you Even Jesus would never forgive what you do

Let me ask you one question: is your money that good? Will it buy you forgiveness? Do you think that it could? I think you will find when your death takes its toll All the money you made won't ever buy back your soul

And I hope that you die and your death will come soon I'll follow your casket through the pale afternoon And I'll watch while you're lowered into your death bed Then I'll stand over your grave till I'm sure that you're dead

    =3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D -=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D-=3D- =3D-=3D-=3D-

30 years had passed away...and this music still makes sense in world's current reality. I just can't believe in it....

...Have you got any ideas? What can we do now?You don't know it? Me neither...

After this illegal war brought upon Iraq by the Bush junta, you will surely get more Sep 11s than you might imagine now.

    Take care, Andreas

Well put. All I hear from anti-war people is complaining - I don't hear what they actually think is a credible alternative to war. But this has been discussed ad-infinitum on the SB list, and I don't have any finger power to carry on if this thread develops. :-)

All I will say is that may it be over quickly, and may the world be a better place in the aftermath. I wonder how it's affecting the new DT album - they are in the studio now and all...

All this talk of war has gotten me wondering where the music talk has gone. Now you can have both! For a limited time... yeah whatever. Anyways, download the new System of A Down video "boom". I don't normally listen to them, but besides the song being catchy, the video is actually quite interesting. You can probably get it on any p2p network.

Looks like it's about time to unsubscribe to the jam, to which I've been subscribed since 1994.

Can someone (Skadz?) keep this war shit - pro/con/whatever - off the fucking ytsejam?

If you feel the need to complain, brag, argue, protest, support, or in other way opine about the ongoing war, could you please HAVE THE COURTESY TO DO IT SOMEWHERE OTHER THAN A MUSICAL MAILING LIST DEVOTED TO DISCUSSING DREAM THEATER AND OTHER PROGRESSIVE BANDS.

    Thank you.
