Unfortunately it's about 3 or 4 years late. Plus, I don't know about you,
but $13 is still a little steep for a cd for me unless it's a band I really

Just received the 3 titles a few days ago .... here's my take on it :
The Majesty Demos :
... I guess I expected too much out of the "top-notch" sound quality
promised by Portnoy. Since I already have all tracks on mp3, that's all that
I care about.

This one's quite listenable ... my only gripe is that this is from LaBrie's
worst performance period. Man, those screams are simply horrible :)
The Making of SFAM
Interesting at the first spin ... up to you for the rest. This kind of thing
really should be given a 'nice-price' tag. Guess this is becoming a trend,
selling glorified demos at full price (like Neal Morse's Transatlantic
Demos).
But, as promised, nice packaging and liner notes.
On a sarcastic note : didn't Jimi wait for something to happen to him before
digging into his vaults?
Oh well, on to the new album !!!!

The review is for the single cd version, but it can be applied to the 3 cd set. I really can't think of a reason not to get the 3 cd version, except for maybe not having enough money to afford it. It's not as if the tracks left out are fillers. Not even close.
