    Greetings ye 'jamanoids....

The Theocracy disc? It was supposed to be ready in time for ProgPower, but
there was a manufacturing problem with the booklet and they had to re-print
them all. That pushed the release back several more days, but Matt hopes to
have them available soon. Check your favorite retailer for availability or
just use the website to pre-order the album.

Yup, that's from their newest album : Recreation Day. This one's not a concept album like In Search Of Truth, so the songs are a lot more straightforward and, to my ears, powerful. I love Tom Englund's voice, such a wide range of strength and emotion. Not up to Gildenlow's level (very very few are), but still excellent. I totally agree also on the guitar solo : stays well within the players' technical capabilities while conveying nice melodic ideas.

But THE progmetal album that's been occupying my listening time is Andromeda's II=I. I like it soooo much that I burned a copy for my car changer and ripped it into WMA for my office PC and Creative Jukebox Zen. :) LeJon is such a talented and versatile drummer, just compare his works for Andromeda and A.C.T. (another current favorite).

Cheers, Sigit np Satch "The Enigmatic"

I still prefer their original first album Extension of the Wish. 2=1 is still kickass though. Guitarist and drummer alike are both great. He plays for ACT too? Those guys are cool, very upbeat :)
