As a matter of fact, I received mine today. :) I ordered it about 6 weeks
ago but apparently it got mixed up and never got shipped.
After giving parts of the first CD a listen, I have to say that the sound
is great for the most part. They've kept it a faithful representation of
a live concert, and having been there at the concert myself it was nice to
remember certain things about the show.
The only complaint I have about what I've heard so far is that everything
seems to be very dry. Since it WAS a live recording, the guitar sound
especially tends to sound a bit dry because the microphone has to be so
close to the guitar amp speakers. It would have been nice for Mike and
Neal to apply some effects to it to give a little more roundness to it.
Other than that, it's a great flashback to that night I went to New York
to hear them perform it. Great show, great songs, and just a great time
had by all.
