I'll post the milwaukee setlist when i get home
tonight....but I think I'd agree, that of the 6 times
I've seen DT, their show yesterday is probably at the
bottom of my list....the set had something to do with
it, the advertisement of the 4 hour set, had something
to do with it, the fact that "indoors" and "seating"
and "Dream Theater" are words that should not appear
together probably had the most to do with it....all
the problems of GA (tall people blocking your view),
and no chance at the remedy (move to where you can
see)....they played the big ballroom at the Rave in
Milwaukee, and it looked to be decently filled
up....but you take away the space imposed by the rows
of chairs, and i think all those people could have fit
in the venue's other theater, where i saw Queensryche
last fall, with a much more tightly packed, and likely
more enthused audience, with the fanatics up front and
center and rocking their asses off....

I think the difference between last night and the
summer big amphitheater shows I've seen DT play was
that at the latter, I expected to be "far away,"
y'know? Last night, I was in the 10th or 11th row, and
I might as well have been as row 35-40, or whereever I
was last August at Pine Knob....

I thought the video boards were kick ass, the
presentations they had on there, especially that
intro....you'd hope if this tour ever turns into a DVD
release, that would kick off the video....

all that said....i did enjoy myself....but at best, I
can say it was cool, but nothing special....

ps: Petrucci's haircut was cracking me up all
night....it makes the guy looks like Ross from Friends.....
