That's an awesome idea! And it'd be easy to do (for someone with a color
scanner) Just use the video or LatM cd cover :) Come on someone, please
please please? :)

I don't know if this would be against copywrite laws, but I write video
capture programs and could capture images from the video....

BTW: Whoever mentioned that there was MIDI noise or something on Another
Day: I listened for it, and although I'm not sure if I'm hearing what you're
hearing, I think it's just the echo effect used on James' voice. It sounds
like it continues to fade after his words.....

Well, I've been doing a little "research" :-) to see where I
could order the (official?) Dream Theater video "Music in Progress". Thanks
to the people on Ytsejam for the suggestions on where to look. So far these
are the best places that I've found:

Tower Records -- 800-648-4844 $18.69 + $3.50 shipping
J&R Music World -- 800-221-8180 $14.95 + $2.95 shipping
HMV -- (617) 868-9696 $11.99 + ?? shipping (but they don't
have it in stock -- 2 to 3 weeks to
                                        order it).

Since I'm not in a hurry, I'll probably use HMV which I've had good
luck with before. If anyone finds any other place that accepts mail-order
purchases then I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks!

P.S. To SHAUN BARRY: I sent you some email so you should be able to reply
now. Just in case you didn't get it, you can mail to: schew@ki.com or
      barbara@wam.umd.edu

P.P.S. Some places I called thought the video was named "Images and Words Live"
so you may want to ask for that too. I assume it is the same video...

P.P.P.S. ABCD had a bootleg video from 1993 in San Francisco for $18 if anyone
          is interested: (914) 939-2223

That'd be cool if you could captire some images from the video. :) Go for it and post em. (I don't think this would be illegal, as long as you gave credit or something? Saying who they were? *shrug* I dunno, I'm no lawyer :) Chris

No more illegal than bootlegs. I've used all the intersting Rush images from syrinx on my workstation--- time for some Dream Theater to break the ennui! Zach

Hi all of you still out there over winter break. I was watching a video bootleg from Long Island (10/4/92) and I noticed that the club looks alot like the club that the PMU video was shot at. Same small stage, and James is wearing the same shirt. "Music in Progress"? Is that the same as LiT? Or is this a different one? As far as I heard, LiT was their only video. Fill me in! :) Chris

Does anyone have any basslines for Dream Theater stuff? I'm sure they are popular with the guitar crowed, but are there any other bassists in awe of John Myung>
