I've heard that Japanese audiences are Weird that way. They're
fanatic about rock and metal (and many types of music, really), but it
almost seems like they're on their Best Behavior during shows (or most
parts of a show). I've even heard something about lights being used
to signal whether the audience can go wild or not. Stranger than
fiction......

That's my only complaint about LaBrie's singing, really..... :)

>But it was an awesome video! :)

Much, much better and more informative than I expected. Atco didn't
-have- to put any production support behid it, but they did. That,
plus the fact they released an American promo for LatM (an overseas
release) bodes well for future support from them for DT.

Seems like the large chain of Turtle's stores here in Atlanta each got one copy of LiT..... If it's there, great; if not, they sold it and you move to a different store. Tower Records here didn't have it either; not sure if it had been sold or they never got it. (I suspect the latter, since the Tower here is geared more to the mallternative crowd than rock or metal.) Best Buys DID have it, cheaper than Turtle's, darnit. If you really can't find it, I could probably scoop it up here for ya.

Does anyone know if the video is (or will be) available on laserdisc?

I'd like a copy of this. I have a bunch of stuff I could trade for it, like NIN, GNR, Metallica, Soundgarden, Izzy Stradlin'...

Well... to tell you the truth, if you were to listen to Parallels and then listen to I&W... you would puke... Parallels (Fates Warning) Q-Sound production simply blows away I&W also the fact that it was recorded with Super Bit-Mapped Sony digital... (get yourself some High Density Linear Converters and you'll be able to hear it like maddd....)

Plus, if you have quite an audiophile system it's kinda interesting to listen to the high-pitch noise on I&W during "Another Day"... listen for it... sounds like a MIDI or Mesa Boogie buzz....

Hey, Pat:

If you can't find the video, try the 800 numbers for Tower and J&R Music World (call the 800 directory--800 555-1212)

Has anyone been able to scan an Dt images yet? I would love to have the flaming heart as the background image on my SGI workstation at school!

Please, someone with access to a scanner, scan several Dt images and let us know where they are located on the net.

I thought that the ytsejam manager was gonna do it...
