Matt, I also would like those addresses. Ordinarily I would never
stoop so low as to write to band members via their friends and family
(or even their own home addresses if I had them, and I do for other
musicians besides DT), but I've yet had no luck writing via the
address given in the liner notes, and, well..... DT is good enough
that I feel -someone- from the band should know they've enriched my
    existence on Planet Dirt... :)

If you want, Email me (addr. below) with the info if it isn't posted
to the Digest (which would be a good idea).

    Thanks,

Let's see, I don't have my CD player with me but you should know what I'm talking about.

-The chorus to Status Seeker -Keyboard solo and chorus from Light Fuse and Get Away -"No one is left now" (James on the Killing Hand) -That part of Only A Matter of Time where you get the BIG bass drum after "...fearless faith in destiny" -The intro to Metropolis, and especially that instant where it gets hard -Keyboard solo on Bombay Vindaloo -all of Another Hand -saxophone solo on Another Day, even though that's some other guy doing it -the coda on Learning to Live -the intro to Under a Glass Moon

I could go on and on and on and on and on and on but I won't at the moment ------------------ Steve Bajzek------ ------------------

    Hi there!

Once again it';s me, about the DT tapes I've got!

At the moment I'm still in the stage of preparing stuff, so please don't expect instant results!!! I've about 20-30 people asking me for them!!!!!

Anyway, I'll keep i'll keep in touch with you guys, letting you know how I'm getting on and stuff.

I think the best thing for me to do is:

    a) Put in a post into ytsejam, explaining everything that is on the tapes.

    b) When that is done, I'll post my address to you guys through e-mail

    c) When that is done (sigh), you can send me the money, plus a letter letting me know which tapes you want, and your forwarding address. Also what type of tape you want it on (ie. Chrome or ordinary cassete)

Hopefully things should run smoothly as possible (I hope!), and don't forget It's gonna be a helluva lot of work for me too!!!! *SIGH*

Anyhow, I'd be pleased to share these great tapes with you!

    Shit! Nearly forgot!

Right... I'm only asking 7.00 pounds each (it was 6.50, but I'll have to add the extra 50 pence as it wasn't enough for the return postage!) If you can get your own currency converted into English Sterling, then that would be great. But if not, then just send cash (No cheques or postal orders please!!!) in your own curreny to that of sterling. (i.e #7.00 pounds is about 11-12 dollars depending on the exchange rate. Last I heard, it was 1.50 dollars to the English pound, so work it out!!!)

Anyway if any of you have any problems at al, then let me know, and we'll work something out, i'm sure!

    Speak to you soon!

Jesus Christ! Touring Europe again? Get your asses back in the studio!

Hey Paul Cashman: I love "Under a Glass Moon" too, but it's hardly a normal-length song, clocking in at 7:02, and I agree with you about "Learning to Live." "Metropolis" seems to be kinda slapped together... It doesn't flow the way "Learning to Live" does. I notice the same thing in "A Change of Seasons" where there is actually a keyboard solo that just goes off into space, then they start again...

The new _Symphonic Music of Yes_ hit tores today. Wht a great recording. Not only is the music inside great, but the packaging is really fabulous. Roger Dean, once again, did an amazing piece for the cover. The record can now be found, or should be found, in almost any store you shop at. Let me know if you can't find it at your favorite outlet and tell me what store that is and where. Bill Bruford and Steve Howe will be in New York to promote the record November 11 and 12. They'll be appearing on Westwood One's Satellite feed to many top market AOR stations on Friday November 12 to talk about the record and perform "unplugged." Is anyone interested in what sations they'll be on? C-man

    Hey fellow dreamers:

Below are the 1992-1993 Dream Theater "Images and Words" tour dates that I have seen able to compile from various lists, posts, and sources. Ideally, I'd like to have a COMPLETE tour listing. So, here I present my list to the mailing list -- If you know of any missing dates, venues, etc., please extract, edit, and re-post to the list.

I think with a more complete show listing, it really aids in tracking DT bootleg recordings (as I know many of you are collecting).

    Cheers Buck
