    Hi All,

Well I vaguely remember some mention of a band named Hawkwind on this group.
Yesterday I saw a shitload of their CD's at a local store. I was wondering
what this band sounds like and what would be the best CD to start with. I
must say that they had this _really_ cool looking double CD that promised
to tell the story of Michael Moorcock's Elric of Melnibone'. Would this be
a good disc to start with? I appreciate any help any can give me. You might
as well just write back to me and not the list since this list _is_ for DT
    stuff. Thanx in advance.

    Jason

I've got an update on the Rush videos... I had a day off and was
able to crank out seven of them, in addition to the usual one or two a
day I've been getting between work and classes. Hopefully a lot of you
who ordered will soon be getting your tape, and I'm ever so sorry for the
delays, it seems every one of you ordered at once! :)

For those of you who would like to know...

Current orders done and recently mailed out:
    modak
    phillips
    dobay
heath (int'l order, may take awhile to go thru mail)
    moller

Orders in my current queue for copying (mail to follow)
    chew
    stahl
    gaffer
    sanborne
    simpson
    merrell
    torres
    s. johnson (int'l order, may take awhile to go thru mail)
    cloninger
    tucker

If you don't see your name above, then:

    a) I've already sent your video out and/or you have it;
    b) I have not yet cashed your check... feel free to mail me if you want
    confirmation of this.
    c) I didn't even get your mail yet, again feed free to confirm;
    d) I biffed somewhere, let me know.

I named the wrong song with the bad note-it was actually The Killing Hand,
not A Fortune In Lies (I'm not using acronyms this time *laugh*). Sorry
if I've sent a hundred ytsejammers off searching for it ;)

    1) Will Kevin's departure affect the October 4 release?

    2) Sorry for the non-DT content, but has anyone else besides me picked up the new Savatage? Is that not supposed to be out yet?

    3) Where are people getting copies of Lie, etc. to upload and where can I get these copies??

It's possible to variate densities on a CD... it's just not guaranteed what your CD player can handle... usually they follow Orange Book for audio CD production... can't remember densities or anything like that...

It's also known that in Japan, they do routinely re-master CD's to sound better than the mass-produced ones for the rest of the world...
