I use Cshow, and it views pretty much anything. It's from CompuServe or
something like that. *shrug* I think I've seen it at ftp.uwp.edu too.

i can't wait to get one (or more) of the proposed t-shirts...
whatever they may look like--i really don't care what they have on
them, as long as it has the majesty logo. :)

personally i love black shirts... and that's all i ever buy
(white seem to turn to get "dirty" white)
but i'll get whatever ones are available.
the ash one could be interesting...reminds me of the "ashes in your
hands.." quote from wait for sleep....

another idea... having quote 'Pull Me Under', with a person being
sucked in a whirlpool, or under water, or something like that...

just one thing i was thinking about:
are there any legal problems of making these shirts? we are using
copyrighted names and symbols... aren't we?
the band will not see any of the proceeds from these shirts, i
assume (that is if there are any profits)

just something to think about, so no one will get sued...

can't wait to get a shirt though....

Actually, to tell you the truth, I think Dominici sounds terrible in
concert. I really can't even listen to him doing Metropolis after
knowing how it sounds. Dominici is almost trying to give the song a
"spooky" echoy effect.

Subject: T-Shirt Ideas: Favorite Quotes

He again... I just wanted to post some of my personal favorite quotes
that would be good for the t-shirt.

I've had my share of tough breaks I need a new voice, a new law,
a new way. To take the time, reevaluate
It's time to pick up the peices, Go back to square one
   I think it's time for a change
Dream Theater Take The Time Images and Words

Life is no more assuring than love
(It's time to take the time)
You're fighting the weight of the world
And no one can save you this time
Dream Theater Take The Time Images and Words

Death is the first dance, eternal
Deceit is the second without end
Now the Miracle and the Sleeper know that the third is love
Love is the Dance of Eternity
Dream Theater Metropolis (part 1) Images and Words

                Before the leaves have fallen
                Before we lock the doors
There must be a third and last dance
                This one will last forever
Dream Theater Metropolis (part 1) Images and Words

Chase the water racing from the sky
                Always beside me
Taste the memories running from my eyes
                Nervous flashlights scan my dreams
                Liquid shadows silence their screams
Dream Theater Under A Glass Moon Images and Words

Nothing is sacred... You draw the bottom line with a dollar sign
Change of opinion... At the drop of a dime
Graceless intrusion... Are you sanctified in your judgment of me?

Hello. Here is the condition of the record of WDADU that I have:

Cover: there are a few creases at the bottom of the front, and the curvature of the record is slightly visible. The back has a few little creases, and the promo stamp below the UPC.

Sleeve: The edges of the sleeve (Which includes lyrics, pictures, liner notes, etc.) are each slightly slitted from the edge of the record (I would think that this happens a lot with records; I don't know). Otherwise, fine.

Record: No scratches; sounds like you would expect the record of an already bad sounding album to sound. But who's really going to listen to the record anyway?

I guess taking bids on this is the easiest way to sell it; bid whatever you want to; cash, trades, anything will be considered (though I'd probably be partial to DT cds that I don't have, and the only ones I have on cd are I&W and LATM).

Thanks, Steve

P.S. If anyone objects to this type of posting on ytsejam, let me know.

It's great that Guitar for the Practicing Musician readers love DT. There was barely a mention of them in the Guitar World poll - and Petrucci is even a columnist for them.

I hesitate to comment on the shirt - who needs another opinion? Two ideas on the quote: Has anyone thought about the Italian quote in TTT? I like the Surrounded idea, but my first vote would go to:

The way that your heart beats makes all the difference in learning to live.
