Brian, and everyone else who ordered shirts. Theres going to be a few
more delays. I'm *REALLY* sorry it's taking so long. But, I do have a
good excuse. I'm getting married. :) Also, we're having a lot of problems
with Hacker's here at qualcomm this week, and things have been way to
busy for me to even think about getting the shirts finished.
Everyone who paid for a shirt will get a shirt, count on it. If you have
a new summer address please email it to me directly. Thanks!

I don't think writing for "their audience" is selling out; I think writing
for radio play and for MTV (as many bands seem to doing these days) is
selling out.

Well here is one more comment for the fun of it. You guys comparing
Rush and DT need to catch a clue! Rush is a rock-and-roll legend who
has been putting out incredible music for over twenty (20) years!
That's longer than most people on this list have been around! In the
mean time they have individually established themselves as gods on
their respective instruments such that almost every new
metal/progressive band cites Rush as a major influence.
To compare a band that has two (count them...2) discs out is crazy.
Sure we can discuss all day how Neil's style is seen here or how
Geddy's vocal style influenced DT or whatever. But to actually make
arguments as to who is better, please! Twenty years from now lets
discuss it but not now. Dream Theater is still just a babe in the
woods. At least give them a chance to establish themselves with four
or five consistently good discs that show some direction.
You can't define a line with a single point.

I would just like to say to Rich that Queensryche does not suck!
Thank you

For us music illeterates, who is this Dave Weckl anyway? If he is as good as you guys made him sound like, well, at least I should try to hear something of his. With who and on what albmums did he play ??
thanks

Very well put. I completely agree. DT has the talent technically and they sound great to me so far, but give them a chance to establish their own "niche".

i received a letter from them yesterday...i was soooooo happy, because i thought that i joined the wrong one...it took 4 months for them to reply... the reason for that is that apparently they had problems cashing my check (i live in canada)...they said their bank doesn't accept canadian dollars....but i don't know how that can be, since the check i sent them is for a special US dollar account, so the money would have been in US funds. anyways...does anyone know how i can get in touch with Gail (via email hopefully) if possible... i want to know if they did cash the check... and therefore allowed me to join the club. i didn't receive a bio, or picture, etc.. like i was supposed to...
