Here are the tour dates, as announced by Mike Portnoy from the IRC
conference several weeks ago. These are ALL the dates that have been
announced to this point. I am sure that C-Man will update the schedule
when more dates (South, Southwest, and West Coast) are known. Europe and
Far East dates are NOT set yet.

For Jeremy in Cincinnati, go to the show in Columbus. The theater there is
really cool. It's a GA show and I'm sure you'll be able to get up to the
front pretty easily. It's on the campus of Ohio State University.

For Brian in Minneapolis, your dates are included as well.

Well, I've still only managed to listen to Awake 3times so far...

Hey Doc! I'm still trying to decide if I like it better than Inside Out (FW) too... I don't know... I love Inside Out but it's my fourth favorite FW album (1. PS, 2. Parallels, 3. NE)

Awake is awesome but it might be my least favorite of the DT albums... Don't flame me folks - I love it but at times I think this album sounds too much like a heavy metal Kansas. I also think that James over-sings sometimes (reminds me of DT live).

I really love all of the reoccurring themes and voice samples on Awake... I think I'll listen again right now! Jay Peele(INFERNO)

You know... all this reasoning that it's Kevin song still doesn't mean they shouldn't play it live... why put it on the album then??

The album is a commercial venture... nothing different from a concert...

It's a great song and I think we should be able to enjoy it live...

Some people believe some music has more to it than you seem to suggest.

I fully understand why they don't want to play it live... even if it becomes a top 40 hit!

I got my DT tickets today for the NY show...$47.40 for 2....ouch!!! But more importantly, DT will be at Tower Records in Paramus, NJ (on Rt. 17) this Tuesday. I would assume that they are gonna be signing their new CD. It should be really cool.

I unfortunately don't have anything interesting to ask the band while I'm there, yet I want to say something to prove I'm a real fan, and not just some schmuck who heard Pull me Under once. Can anyone help me out with an intelligent comment/question? __________________________________________________________________________ Rohit Modak rmm30@columbia.edu

I know the band has a divided view on this, but I was wondering where one can get hold of bootlegs? I live in the UK, but I hope this shouldn't stop me from being able to get hold of a few CD's?

I hear there is one called "Dance of Eternity"?

Hmm... well I think what DT is getting at is this. The song is Kevins. For them to play it live without kevin it just wouldn't mean the same. It wouldn't have the passion that Kev played it with. It just wouldn't mean anything.

Well here in the midwestern US we got screwed!!! Head Bangers ball was not aired!! It was scheduled to be on at 11pm, one of my freinds always tapes it so we can skip most of the crap that it is played. Well we got a few hours of B&B, which in their own words sux!!!

Well, I finally got ahold of the Live in Tokyo video. It was not what I had expected, it 1000 times better!!! I wish I would have bought it before. For those of you who have seen DT live, how do there regular shows compare to the tape. Was the LIT video and exception or do they usually have that good of a show?
