Well, it's just one tune on an album with a LOT of cool Kev stuff. In fact,
on the album, The Mirror segues into Lie without the drum break which is at
the beginning of the Lie single. The Mirror is in a similar vein to Lie but
has lots of tasty keyboard stuff in the way of textures and moods. One of the
things I really like about the ablum is the metal sound of Kev and his
    keyboards. Take care, Eric!

Well, if the moderators are smart they'll make the channel "moderated."
What this means (the +m flag) is that only moderators can talk. So the DT
members will be oped and moderators will be oped and then those who want
to ask a question will /msg a moderator and they'll keep track of these
names and then when that persons name comes around on the list, they'll
say "OK John Doe, you're up, ask your question" then they'll op that
person and they'll be able to speak.

Oh... one thing I forgot to mention is that The Mirror is basically
based on Puppies On Acid... The beginning IS Pup, and most of the
song has the same or faster sound.

Also, every time I hear the tape, it get's better... The only song I
don't think is absolutly incredible already is 6:00, which has
potential once I listen to it a few more times... Oh, anyone who
already has it, any clues where the samples from 6:00 are from?

I just can't wait for this to come out on CD... I'll probably break
the damn tape before it's released... :)

Well, I just got my copy of a copy of Awake, and I must say, it is quite impressive... I am listening to it for the first time, and am listening to Scarred right now (next to the last song). From my first impressions, most of the CD is incredible on the first listen... Have to listen to 6:00 once more... Everything else is INCREDIBLE on first listen... The full version of Erotomania is AWSOME. Lifting Shadows Off A Dream is GREAT, Scared is almost scary how good it is (I am running out of different words to describe the songs :)

Now, as I posted before, I will try to copy Awake for anyone who wants an early copy, but I have to fit it into my schedule... So far, after my first post, only 2 people have responded... I am sure that there are many more of you who want awake... Again, I can try to get tapes copied ASAP, but I have alot of other stuff to do...

So, you like Lie better than 6:00... why don't you like 6:00 yet? is it very progressive, or what? is it heavy like Lie?

Here's some interesting info that I received at the record store I manage. I received an envelope from WEA it had in it some things concerning DT. First, I have yet another sticker. Next was a full-page color ad for AWAKE. One side is the album cover and the back is promo for the album. The last bit of info is the most interesting. Inside of a promo mag that I get each month, a page is devoted to promos that they will send to me. One of the items listed was a DT Interactive CD-ROM for AWAKE which "will guide you thru AWAKE before its release on October 4th." I found this VERY interesting and mailed the page back to WEA in order to get this promo. I'm assuming this CD-ROM is promo only, but it would be nice for everyone to have a chance of owning one. When I do get this thing, I'll be sure to let everyone on here know what it's like. Rob
