I forgot to mention....if any Toronto area 'jammer wants to get WDADU on
CD, HMV downtown has a shit-load of 'em!
Judas Priest tribute on the way? Who is behind this? I used to love JP
back in the 80's -- they were my favourite band at the time (favorite for
you Yank's!). I'd love to hear DT do a tune...here's a thread concept...
What JP song would you like DT to cover were they to do one? Keep in
mind we should pick a song that Derek can play a part in...
Greg.

Great! dropping prices would be great!
With this selling to dealer idea. I hope you allow individuals to
purchase cds before you sell them all to dealers. With the popularity of
these cds rising, I can see many dealers wanting vast quantities.

Anyone remember if we >got 'em all? Yes, I do beleive that Bafu posted a complete list of the samples a while back, and I incorporated them into the DT Songbook. Here's how to get a copy:
The Dream Theater "Unofficial Song Book" is a complete listing of all Dream Theater lyrics (Official releases, singles, EPs, cover tunes, the Kevin Moore demos, etc.). It is available via the following methods:
WWW: http://www.indirect.com/www/mkizer/dt/dt.htm FTP: www.indirect.com/www/mkizer/dt/dt_sb12.txt
Email from the Ytsejam Mailing List Archive send: get ytsejam dt_sb12.txt Address it to: ytsejam-request@ax.com with a subject of: asdf
If you wish to include links from your web pages, the name of the actual file changes with each revision (but I'll let everybody know when that happens). The WWW address listed above will not change (so that's a safe one). But the following are subject to change (when ever I find the time and/or new material to add): Dream Theater page: http://www.indirect.com/www/mkizer/dt/dt.htm ASCII Song Book: http://www.indirect.com/www/mkizer/dt/dt_sb12.txt HTML Song Book: http://www.indirect.com/www/mkizer/dt/dt_sb12.htm
If you can't get a copy using the above methods or have any comments or questions, send me an email at mrkizer@ccgate.hac.com

hey hey! as far as the Savatage vs. Dream Theater thing, i think theyre both incredible bands, and when i listen to savatage i say "no doubt, better than dt by far" and when i listen to dt i say "these guys could kick savatage's asses" i think thats what makes them such great bands.
> When DreamNDay posts they may be many, but they're usually pretty >short. A lot of people may only post once on a jam, but it takes up >half the jam! Plus, DreamNDay is out of the country at the moment, so >I don't think it's fair to be picking on someone when they're not >around to defend themselves. > If you don't like the way the jam is, then why don't you >unsubscribe. It's really not that difficult and that way you don't >have to see all those posts by one person.
i dont really think Itchy was complaining, i've gotten to know him quite well on irc and he's one of the coolest jammers i've met. Cant we all just get along! (cliche) I'm not saying anything against Brian either, just defending itch.

ya know, i'm wondering what this irc page says to do to get on the 'jam. alotta people seem to know the asdf part, but we get so many directed through to ytsejam@ax.com ya kinda wonder, and its got to be a hyperlink, so how descriptive is it on getting on the jam?

1.) I found a website that has pictures of musicians taken by a photographer named Niels Van Iperen. There is a cool picture of James (it's a head shot of him with sunglasses on.) This is the only Dream Theater picture, but there are some other cool ones (Doug Pinnick, Tori Amos, etc.) The URL is http://metaverse.com/vibe/rockshots/#top.
2.) Does anyone have any info. on the Paul Gilbert CD-ROM? Like, when is it due out? What's on it? Etc.
3.) Has anyone seen "Jesus Christ Superstar" in Boston with Gary Cherone? I heard it's fabulous!
