Sorry for the NDTC
The Queen tribute album Dragon Attack is out in mainland Europe but, as
usual, no record store over here in the UK has heard of it. I'd _really_
like to get hold of this before Christmas as I'd like to give it to
someone as a present.
So, I was wondering if some kind Euro-jammer could pick it up for me.
Obviously, I'll pay all postage etc.
Any offers please e-mail me privately.
Thanks,
Mark.

is big fat money on balance? that's the only van halen CD i have and I didnt
hear something similar to Play With me, I dont like Van Halen very much but
I bought that CD because it was a half priced and a friend told me that I
should take a listen to it...Wich is the best Van Halen album for you? I
only heard Balance, F.U.C.K, Van Halen Live (right here right now) and some
of the songs from 1984.....

Does anybody has heard the bumble bee flight (crash landing), it is great,
very slowly though, but it is great anyway....
Nuno Used to play that song after the bumble bee flight on Extreme
concerts...has anybody got some Extreme live videos?

These guys aren't super techinical like Amit says but they sound like they're
having on Hell of a good time. If you're into the Dick Dale/Webb Wylder thing,
do check them out. No song is very long and it is great driving music. It is
part surfer, part G-man, part car themes. If you got Viva!, get the album that
precedes it, simply titled "The Utterly Fantastic and Totally Unbelievable Sound
of Los Straitjackets". The thing is that when they perform live, they wear
wrestling masks. These guys are too cool. :D "Nothing wrong with a Telecaster

Uhhh, that would be the second generation shirt. They are:
first generation : Black only, Majesty symbol over right chest, glow in
glow in the dark "Let the light surround you" on back
second generation: Many colors with BIG ytsejam written across the front
and DT and Majesty symbol on the back.
third generation : Black only, floating Majesty symbol with columns all
around. On back, purple (purple? I'm partially color
blind) letters and symbol.
There was a limited production YCII shirt which preceded the second generation
shirt which had the Majesty symbol over right chest, and big DT and Majesty
symbol on back. Demand for this shirt prompted for the second generation shirt.

Yeah. I dew. Ever heard the song "Holiday" by The Other Ones? CdEurope is

unfortunately there have been too many nasty reviews of their service

I remember them. They have three albums and one EP out. I have the second album, "Second Coming" and the EP "I Want More." They have some great moments "Heartbreak BLVD," "I Want More," etc. Tim Skold, the lead singer (on all but the first album) now has a solo record out on RCA under the name of just "Skold." I have yet to find it. It is supposed to be in the vein of "Violent New Breed," which was their industrial third (and last) album. Sometimes it amazes me how much I actually know about this kind of music.

Haven't posted on here in a while, but I just picked up some new music I wanted to tell you all about.
World of Silence - "Window of Heaven"
These guys are from Sweden and they have really impressed me with this release. It's a little reminiscent of Shadow Gallery, but quite a bit better IMHO. Heavy guitars and great melodies. Also a lot of very tasteful keyboard work.
Heads or Tales - "Eternity Becomes a Lie"
I believe these guys are also from Sweden. Their music is heavier than World of Silence. Haven't had a chance to listen to it much - but after one listen, I'd definitely recommend it!
Lemur Voice - "Insights"
Yeah - this one's been tossed around here for a few months. GREAT ALBUM! Reminds me a little of a heavy Echolyn.
If you live in the Dallas area and you want to get a copy of Superior's album "Behind", I found a store that is carrying it as an import. E-mail me and I'll tell you where.
They also have the CD's mentioned above.
OK - Somebody spill it! What's the surprise...? (I'm tired of waiting for the mailman!)

That song (I forgert the name) is on the "Guitars that Rule the World", vol. 1 CD. ITs also got some pretty cool stuff with Zakk Wylde, Paul Gilbert (I think), Richie Sambora, Malmsteen, and an awesome piece called Black Magic by Reb Beach (of Winger). Morgenstein and Beach - two very talented musicians....both in Winger....shame how a single flamboyant member can bring a bands' reputation to shit.

Someone should design and make a Ytsejam keychain. That would be cool to have. I dunno if it should be a square plastic one with some sort of design on it, or maybe just a metal one in the shape of the Majesty symbol. Or both. Or neither. I'm no good at doing stuff, I just think of cool stuff to do. :)

Oh, of course, it was Christmas Eve... . He said they started it out, with the nice cello and stuff, and they were like, "Wait a minute, it's going to get real good in a sec..." right before the whole thing broke in. No doubt! I tried getting into Malibu last year, fake ID and all, and I was denied for not having a drivers licene. I saw some people getting turned down left and right because the bouncers said the licence didn't look completely like them. Story I heard was someone got stabbed at an Anthrax show a month before and the dude was underage so Malibu beefed up on security. Maybe I should go to Bithch Hell. Yeah, that sounds about right. I'm still not particularly aware of the band, but what I've heard is somewhat thrashy. Still, "Prog" is a really slippery term, as we've discussed here before. Did I mention that Tourniquet once filled in for my old band at a gig (God Adam, shut up about that already.....).

Eric Johnson is awesome on "Lone Star." "Kings Of Sleep" is the best of the Stu albums, though, I'd say. And Harry Cody does play a lot on it. He and Buzz Feiten are awfully good players.
