cant you just hear a DT song blaring from the surround sound system at a
theater, ive always thought that the beginning couple of minutes of innocence
faded and lifting shadows off a dream would rock in a movie. think about it,
cant you just see a wide shot of NY city from a helicopter circling the roof
top of a building to innocence faded. lifting shadows, well thats music for
either the opening or closing credits.

    Hi there,

Just for info, I just received a new check from Mike Bahr, with 14 new orders,
some of them Have been waiting a long time, I know that!

Ok, I know I should have posted more often, but, well I don't know why I didn't
do that. Maybe 'cause I didn't have anything to say about the situation with
my cd writer. I didn't want to say the same thing every time (well guys, my
cd writer is still not repaired).

Just for the record : I have shipped 95% of my Carpe Diem orders, and those 14
are the last I will do.

So, don't call me a thief! This whole situation, was just as shitty for me as
    it was for you all.

    Hello!

    Quick note:

Just spoke with Enchant's manager/German label boss. He told me that Wounded,
their new album, will be released by Magna Carta - at last. He knows that
there are some people who want the new CD, just some more patience!

    Ok, merry christmas, BTW...

anyone else notice the preview for the movie "starship trooper"? for someone
that doesn't go to the movies too often, that looked rather nifty.

have their middle name "Scott" and first name Ronnie?

Originally planned on being out Feb of 97, but it's been pushed back to the
summer (early fall?) of 97 now. Kevin Gilbert was to produce, but he died and
they haven't found the producer they want yet. I guess if there's a silver
lining to our ytse-starvation (lack of new DT), it seems like they'll be
continuing to write new material until they find
    Mr. Right-Producer.

Ok this made me remember a question that Ive had for a long time and always forget to post.. why dont they use the guys who produced awake? I mean they all seemed happy with the sound they got (the clear drums, cool guitars, audible bass, keys were there althou a little low) many bands use the same producer over and over..why not use the guys from awake

Is that producer the same one that did Awake? That was a good album. They did a very good job recording it. Where is the new album being recorded, anyway? It's too bad that DT doesn't make the news much. Nobody ever reports on their whereabouts. All the other big-name bands get good PA, but not DT.

    Hey Jammerz,

I just came up with this question today: in the X Factor album, "Man on the Edge" is obviously based on the movie "Falling Down" (nice movie, btw). Thinking this way, can "The Sign of the Cross" be some way related to the movie "The Name of the Rose", or maybe in Umberto Eco's book on which the movie is based?

    Sorry for the NDTC.

And I wish you a Merry X-Mas (wow, 32 minutes more and it would have been too late :) ) and a very happy new year (if all goes right, with a new DT album coming!).

    Hello everyone,

I've got a couple of questions regarding the Ronnie Scott's gig of last year. The first is, has anyone else noticed that the fan club CD seemed to have been remastered from the original performance? I have a tape of the entire concert, and though the quality is not as good, I noticed that some of the vocals seemed to be redone on the fanclub cd. The second question is: What is going on right before Red Hill Mining Town? They started it up, and then James says Oh no.. I don't think so... We just learned about this gig four hours ago..." something to that effect, like he might be talking to someone in the audience. Then they stop, and then start it over. I was confused by this, so I was wondering if anyone who was actually there or knows what happened could help me out. Of course, this is not on the fanclub version, only on the tape of the concert. Ig anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.. Thanks.

    Scott

OK, imagine that you tooke Steve Rothery (Marillion) and threw him into Fates Warning in place of Frank Aresti (whos' gone now anyway, or was it Matheos? Whatever...) Add some lyrics that concentrate about conquering self-doubt and reaching for your dreams, and there you go. The singer for these guys rokz. I think the drummer is the cymbal king. The guitar player is likely the next Steve Rothery. The bass player has his moments, and the keyboard player... well, he basically fills the cracks in... (Not as good as he could be, but what the F***?) Anyway, I recommend Blueprint highly. The news aboutt he Magna Carta release is great. I can't wait. :)
