Hi all,
For all those who are interested, there's a rumour floating around here that
Dream Theater will be touring this part of the world (Australia) sometime
around Spetember. If you happen to know that this is true or if you can ask
the members of DT, please let me and other Australian ystejammers know by
posting it here.
If this is true, it will be AWESOME!!
Also, I like to thank Mike Bahr for being a real cool dude!!
Take care and God Bless!

My personal opinion is that if James is singing falsetto he's got to
be the best cause it's never seen to show through to me...I always
thought falsetto made you voice sound real thin because your pretty
much just singing up in your throat....everything I've heard James
sing has always very full and clear... also every experience with
singing falsetto by males has usually made them sound femanine...
James is a big guy...do you want to tell him he sounds femanine?

I haven't seen any mention of this yet, so I thought I'd better clue the
'Jam in (and Ytse, too).
In the latest Discovery (that's BMG's catalog) they have DT (no drink)
feature with I&W, Change of Seasons (no *I* didn't miss the A), and
Awake. Then directly across the page is an announcement of great
importance. BMG now carries releases from the MetalBlade label. Yes,
this means Fates Warning. For all those interested, I'm including the
catalog numbers so I don't get swamped with requests.

Message-ID: <199602210349.VAA131501@audumla.students.wisc.edu>
Who out there likes Jethro Tull? The Chieftans? Rush? Have you
ever imagined a mesh of all three together? You're in luck if you have.
Magna Carta released Tempest's newest "Turn of the Wheel" recently, and I'm
happy to say I snatched it up.
My initial impression was this "Unique" and a smile.
The initial ear gander made me think "I wonder how celtic these guys
really are?" The tunes take traditional melodies of celtic music, throw in
drums and guitar, and toss in some good storytelling lyrics.
Norwegian myth, Irish folktale, Scottish ballad, traditional pieces
from Ireland, Norwegian folksong, and orignal material wrap up this disc.
It's a great disc. If your a tried and true heavy prog fan, this may not be
your cup of tea. If your a Tull fan, you probably will dig this Bard-like
songwriting. I think it's great. I also think these are the same guys who
have put out other discs, three I think. My RA here in my dorm have seen
these guys a few times, and have their older discs.
Well, there's my review.
"So fare thee well, a thousand times adieu
I am bound across the ocean, far away from you
As night begins to die, morning brings release,
I travel as I wish, settle as I please"
"Cat in the Corner"
