I hear you Scott but the CD's will have a cover and the same liner notes
but I am making them look different so as not to take away from the
    collectable nature of the original.

Well, I finally got to hear the Subcon version of ACoS (thanks, Jodi). I
must say that I like the studio version a LOT more! And I don't see the
big deal about the missing "Please Don't Go." Sure, it would have been
nice if James would have kept the "Please Don't Go" in the studio
version, but it's not a HUGE difference. I just think the studio version
sounds 10 times better than the live Subcon version, with or without
    "Please don't go."

You can't frighten us with your sorcerous ways, Lord Bafu! Your sad

digest! This digest is now the ultimate power in the universe.

Let's not start out the new list by having Bafu Vai talk about how people
will start off the new list by saying "Let's not start off the new list

No, no, no. Archangel isn't even WITH X-factor any more! Get your X-books
straight! There's only like 50 of them. The main problem is that if
Polaris doesn't be careful, she could screw up Forge's bionic arm and
leg. Of course, if Havok goes nuts and blows everything up, then I guess
we won't have to worry about that.

What? You mean that whole X-factor thing didn't have anything do with
Dream Theater? I'd have thought it would have since this is the Dream
Theater digest and all. You mean X-factor isn't some new bootleg from
Mike Barr featuring recordings of Charlie Dominici and James LaBrie
singing in the shower (no, not together, silly)?

a lot, Mike! And I also have to thank him for completing my Magic Ice Age

Oh yeah, and WDaTU is great, but I AM disappointed by the low quaility of
TOWHTSTS since that's my favorite song from WDADU. Otherwise, it's a
    great CD.

man it seems eveywhere i step people are beating each other silly.

    let's evaluate this.

    who derek fucks:
this was in part started by i, in my post stating that the whole thing with
the tori list was just beyond my world for me because i had to go thru a lot
of stuff i didn;t need to read about, as in "who tori slept with."

i responded that it's good that i don't have to sit here on the ytsejam and
debate who derek fucks (paraphrased- i forgot exactly how i put it). anyway,
next thing i see, someone's trying to portray derek as a homo, and then we
get "doomo" and then that all got messy.

stop it, please. you are doing yourselves no good in debating silly things
like this. jeez. if someone has an idea where this argument is going, please
tell me, because i have no goddamn clue.

mojoman, one very angry mutha fucka who i don't wanna fuck with:
as evinced in the latest post, he is pissed. maybe reasonably so. again, in
some wacky way, this invloves me as well, with my recent post about the
mindless dribble (imo) in the tori list. whoever mentioned that he poses no
value to the jam, man, what's up with you?? crack? he made his opinions
clear. he may be wrong or his opinion may be unpopular (or we just might be
the crack-ass smokin freaks), but i don't see where issues of one's value to
    this jam are relevant.

i just thought i'd mention my views on this. stop bitchin, if you disagree,
do it with some sense of intelligence, and not tell people they are worthless
or are doing this for attention. goddamn!

    anyways, back to better things.

this dt tribute thing seems interesting, but for some reason(s), i am a
little concerned about its success. would this work? i really dig what
someone said about sending all the recordings to a guy to make the final mix.
i would like to contribute, if it goes into the air, on a tune like 600, wfs
or pmu on the keys, providing this works.

and if bafu wants the iron shiek back, i want the dynamite kid and the
    junkyard dog back!

so peace out, and check ya later.

No way, man! Lord of the Flies is the first song on the X-factor CD which
is a combination Iron Maiden / Dream Theater CD featuring Archangel's
heavy wings, Spider-man clones, James and Chuck D singing in the shower
(not together), and a special appearance by Bruce Dickenson singing
Rush's "Tears." Not to mention that it's a Mike Bahr bootleg legally
    released by Magna Carta.

Especially since BOTH of the old Mack-truck Optimus Primes are no longer

Maybe if you do the world a favor and take down both Al Whatshisname and

But don't be disappointed if it's a bat, not a mack truck.

I totally agree with you there Buster! I thought that it was
basic COMMON SENSE not to send something like this to the past. It has
not a damn thing to do with DT or music at all! I say we all send this

paragraph telling us about her business and if we wanted more info we
could e-mail her and then have her send us the essay instead of having

Since I posted about Glass Hammer I've since discovered they'll be
playing a show AGAIN at Atlanta's big summer sf/fantasy/comics/gaming
convention, Dragon*Con, in mid-June -- they played last year, too.

The URL for the con home-page is http://www.dscga.com/~dragoncon, but
this might be new enough that GH isn't listed (I edited their group
bio last night for our progress report, and that gets sent to the Web
page, too, so it's probably too early).

    Pronunciation of "Laussade":

    Laus + sade

    "laws" + "sharday"

(Ben, I'm joking; if this -is- the correct pronunciation, shoot me.)

Hehe. Is Derek gay? Does it matter? Thinking about it, he's the only one in the band without long hair...and you know what they say about men with long hair.. Who gives a damn anyway? It's about music.

Hello everyone, it's BABS. Wow, this kind of sounds funky? It would be neat to do something like that - utilize the 'jams talent. I wonder what the band would think? Better yet, maybe I don't want to know (giggle). Sounds like fun though.

Everybody, sing with me in unison "We are the world, we are the Ytsejam..."

Ok, enough of my torment. In all honesty though it sounds like a lot of fun.

I'm visiting a friend at Grinnell College in Iowa and I was wondering if there were any Dream Theater fans attending the same college. There aren't too many fans where I go to school, but I'm learning to live. (Now take that shot because that is definetly an overused title-turned-cliche :)

    Too late for later . . .
