skadz, it's probably some boot, which i definitely don't have (aside from ad
and wdatu). speaking of which, anyone with a boot with the "original" acos
    willing to sell, see me.

it's ironic that the other day, whoever mentioned "davie blow roth", now we
    get the BIG NEWS. funny.

i very much agree with whoever it was about the technique thing. yeah, the
boys are kicikin' but that ain't where it's at. raitz mentioned that jp
worships vai and dimeola, myung bows to a man named tony levin (i believe i
read this in a gftpm article from a few years back), and well he should.
porntoy (i love intentional spelling errors) loves neil, and bruford would
still beat his ass silly (so i think). and james, well, james is james. and
dont' even get me started on derek. ;-)

and wow- i can't wait to hear rmp, rpm, or mpr, or elp. whatever.

    that's all. see ya.

I haven't posted in awhile, so I figured what the hell. I got back from
Boston the other day to check out John Petrucci's guitar clinic and it
totally kicked ass. I'm sure that there has already been reviews of the
show from some of the guys that were there with me, so I'm not going to
mention anything about the show. But the guys that I was with was
definitely real cool. I have to thank Skadz for housing me along with 4
other guys. I know that I had a blast and so did everyone else in
Beantown. Hopefully real soon, we can have another get together like we
    did earlier this week.

I also posted because I now have a new E-Mail address. My old address was
augie@unix.asb.com It's now, augustl@mail.idt.net So of course, if anyone
has to reach me for YtseCon III news and info or if anyone wants my DT boot
list, just E-Mail me at my new address.

p.s. (This is a note to Bafu Vai and Syrinx) I just feel like telling you
    two that I have a picture of you 2 at a time that you wouldn't won't a
picture of. I'm sure you guys know what it is and if you're not sure, just
think about when Skadz's roomatte left and where you 2 ended up. I used
Bafu's camera, so he'll see it first. :)

HA! I was expecting something like that. Buster I already read your apology
and all, but I'm not pissed off because I was expecting that... I guess I
    didn't make myself clear....

when I listen to DT, I still get those jaw-dropping moments... and I think
DT rules etc, etc... I'm just saying there are better musicians. The other
day I was listening to Vinnie Colaiuta (or however you spell his name), and
I couldn't believe how fucking incredible he was. And then I compared it to
MP and it just wasn't the same (I had an analogy for this, but I forgot...
you know basically, there's something that you like a lot, but then you here
something that's even better, and when you get back to the first, it pales
in comparison. Wait acouple of days and it's amazing again). Yes Mike is a
great drummer, but I'm sure if you talked to him, he'd admit that he could
be a lot better... same goes for all the doodz in the band...

Put it this way, I know that there are guitarists better than JP... but the
day I can play like JP, I will be a very happy man:)

Now, take in mind, I was referring to technique... Now if you take in mind
musical taste, songwriting, choice of notes, etc... then the guys in DT are
WAY up there... THAT'S what makes those guys great... not HOW they play but
WHAT they play. There are many things that when I hear them play it, I
think it's most fucking difficult thing in the world, and then when i try it
out, I can actually play it...

I could go on and on, but I take it you caught my drift by now:)

uh, that last paragraph, HOW they play makes 'em quite great too:)

and to sum it all, the band chemistry brings there whole musicianship to a
    higher level...

That's the kind of shit I hate about this list. But at least Keu is
trying to be creative about it... Still, both messages could have been
taken to private email. I don't wanna sound like Skadz' little helper,
but I think that this list would be much cooler if we got rid of those
stooopid flames. It makes all of us Jammers look like freakin' psycho's
with nothing better to do than piss eachother off... Maybe I was wrong
to subscribe to this list... I expected it to be a much nicer place
where Jammers can talk about (one of) their favourite band(s).
Guess I was wrong... Maybe I'm getting too old (25) for this shit...
Please don't flame me for hating flames. Flames Suk. If U Flame U Suk 2.

Yeah, it probably should be RMP, but that's what the man said to me, so
I'm not going to argue with him. I did mention, however, that RPM sounded
like a name that's been used many times before, so hopefully he'll take
    my suggestion. :)

Actually, I did mention Magna Carta right away. He mentioned their lack
of money, and that he's friends with the guy that runs MC; I'm guessing
he doesn't want to mix (lack of) business with friendship.
