    BAhahahahaahahaaaaa !! ROFL !!

I watched the Japan pay per view when they put the camera on Derek
    after
the guy yelled out "I like men". Now I'm no expert at lip reading, but
it looked like to me that Derek said, "Tell Brian he can blow me!"

Kurt, I know what you mean !! Charlie's voice and his live on-stage
    performance
left a LOT to be desired.

I have two videotaped 1989 DT concerts with Charlie D. on vocals and
    his
stage performance was not so hot. His voice was terrible. He just
    was not
"in tune" with the rest of the band.

One of my favorite moments of that 1989 DT concert was watching a very
    young
John Petrucci run across stage to the camera (these two concerts were
    taped
by the band) which was filmed ON STAGE, and John playfully picked his
    nose
with his middle finger while giving 'the bird'. Hehe He'd never do
    that now
which is why that was so cool. Then the camera follows DT backstage
    after the
2nd concert and Mike P. frantically asks "anyone got a light? anyone
    got a light?"

I got this album. It kicks ass. Although, I haven't listened to it since
Christmas. BTW, not all of teh songs had a hard rock feel. Some were kinda
light, but the only one I disliked was Jingle Bells cuz I just don't like
    country

I was just browsing through my Rush "Counterparts" CD booklet and I

That's not what I said. I said, "As far as metal bands, the "I'm angry

Lyrics that "read like Shakespeare" and lyrics that directly refer to
Shakespeare and Ayn Rand are two different things.

Yet more words are being put in my mouth. I didn't bash metal as a
whole genre. I bashed Megadeth and Pantera. As far as I can remember,
I'm entitled to my opinion, whether you like it or not. Metallica is still
one of my favorite bands. Anthrax was my first concert, and I'm still
into them. I can't believe I remained civilized for this reply. Next
time, Matt, do your own research before putting words in my, or any other
    Jammers', mouths.

I was wondering if anyone out there had the names of some of the better DT live recordings (other than Live At The Marquee). I've seen a few, "Mind Control," "Live In Long Island," and "Wake Up" (which I have on VHS). I was hoping someone had the name of a good double disc off of the "Awake" tour. Thanks.

Also, is the single for "Lie" still available. That's the one with "To Live Forever," right?

Hi there, Some people have been asking who else went tom Berklee. Melissa Etheridege, The drummer for Living Color, The Drummer and guitar player for Aerosmith, most of Collective Soul (I could be wrong on that one it might be Candlebox) and a whole load of jazz players. But whoever said that Berklee is easy to get into was right. I went up there to audition (for electric bass). It was extremely easy, simple scales, diatonic chord relationships, key signatuires, sight reading, some ear training, and a prepared peice ot two. I got accepted, but I'm not going to go there. Gonna major in psychology instead. There were some fantastic players that I met up there, but there were a lot of people who couldn't play MUSIC to save their lives. As the man in the music store acrss the street said "ther's a whole lot of wanking going on in there!"

    Just go home and practiice!

    Cheers
