Get ready for one show <BIG grin> Marilyn Manson are those bi-sexual,
cross dressing, killer name taking, "anti-christ superstar" guys! They
put out a REALLY great show i've heard... the lead singer (Marilyn
Manson) totally self mutilates himself on stage and all sorts of other
stuff... they've been banned from several places too... thats just a
LITTLE of what to expect ;)

ok one other thing- I think it was brian who said he didnt think what
his friend had for space dye vest on the cover was right... first of
all- what was it? and i think that the space horizon might be where
space dye vest is portrayed on the cover... anyone else? also do you
think "lifting shadows" may be portrayed as the color on the other side
of the mirror? just a thought...

I've found all my Magna Carta stuff at either Blockbuster or Tower. Lucky
shops, I guess, but then again the manager of the local BlockBuster Music is
a HUGE Yes fan. When I bought the Yes Tribute and World Trade, we talked
for about 30 minutes about Yesm ABWH, Chris Squire's solo album, etc...

I like 'em. They sound like Metallica's black album with some goth

A few 'Jams ago, some guy came up with the idea that someone should write
lyrics to the Silent Man and call it "The Silent Fart". Well, I'm currently
working on the trilogy of songs called "A Fart Beside Itself". After
finishing Fartomania (that was a tough one to redo the lyrics!) and coming
up with replacements for most of what is normally known as Voices, I'm
running short on ideas. You can only be so original when writing lyrics
about releasing toxic fumes into the air! So please, any of you tasteless
people out there who have ideas for lyrics, please send them to me.

I was there, too, along with my 14-year-old son (he was born when I
was 10 - yea right). Anyway, you are correct about sound problems -
remember when John Myung's bass rig took a shit for about 10 minutes?
He was pissed - I believe the Silent Man was seen to mouth the f-word a
few times that night. The cool thing was that Derek, John P and Mike
took the opportunity to extend the jazz/blues improv they sometimes do.
I remember being impressed by Derek's jazzy style.

Well, the acoustics at the Mammoth leave a lot to be desired - BUT -
KBPI radio did tape the concert and played it on the air Sunday night
of the next week. (This was before they jumped on the "alternative"
    bandwagon (which is anything but)).

I taped the show, and the quality was really pretty decent! I got
mucho enjoyment from it until my tape also took a shit (the curse of
the Mammoth?) However, I saved the tape, and it _might_ be repairable.
I plan to find it and try to splice it or whatever it takes, since a
few people have asked for copies of it lately. I'll let you all know
if I have any success. Later,

    hiya,
I can't beliece that my sig has no graphics in it and it still gets this
many posts. Mountain Dew (regular) is great, it still tastes like humming
bird food but it has TONS of sugar and caffeine (more than Jolt which is
why I only drink fruit juices now). It's great to use right before a show
to get you psyched up. All my sig was saying was that DIET dew blows. I
can't believe there is so little to talk about on the Jam nowadays that
people are bashing my sig. ;-)
As to how now what urine looks like, my father is a nephrologist (kidney
doctor) and I've worked at his dialysis unit since i was 14 (I'm 18) as a
dialysis technician so I've seen ALL sorts of urine (it can be orange,
yellow, clear, BLUE or even BLACK-the last two represent severe renal
failure leading to daeth in a matter of days if not treated-NEVER SLIP
ANTIFREEZE INTO ANYONE"S DRINK -one of my friends had this done to him at
a party-his kidneys died and he is hooked up to a dialysis machine for
three hours a day, three days a week, this is not a funny prank, 1 once of
antifreeze will permantly kill your kidneys, any more will probably kill
    you.

Hope this hasd been enlightening. :-)

I Have been using PIECES of my 77 line Shadow Gallery SUPERSIG. It contains the FULL lyrics to Ghostship....and is UNBELIEVABLY IMMENSE. The infamous FATES WARNING SIG is fairly small in comparison....now I've gotten more POSITIVE replies about the .Sig War than negative. But...if I'm going to do this...I'm going to do it BIG. I gave my Enemy, the Masked Avenger a preview courtesy of HIS e-mail address. Now ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT ME TO DO IT? And Who will decide the victor??????? This thing could become a running war for many, many moons to come........is the 'Jam ready for it? And are there anymore Ytsewarriors ready to take up the slack when I have to like...work and such???? I'm beginning to think that The Masked One is at least as tenacious as I........and I would hate to miss out on a good counterattack just because I had to leave town for a few days. Sooo, Ben and all Ytsejammers reading these words.....think about this....and make YOUR WILL KNOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you want to see THE WHOLE PICTURE....THE BIG ENCHILADA......let me know...and you'll get the WHOLE THING. I've been NICE about this so far (evil snicker).

DT CONTENT: Larry...I just hope that you can save the 11/22/94 tape. I agree with you.....they made the bass mishap into a great opportunity for a jam. I was right up front.......lots and lots of fun! But, whew, was that a COLD DAMN NIGHT OR WHAT????? That's the last time I EVER SHOW UP EARLY FOR A CONCERT IN WINTER!!!!!!!

    Hi,

I need everyone's help with something. Muchmusic has a couple of cool shows; one's called Power30 and the other's Spotlight. Power30 is :30 M-Thur of Hard Rock/Metal videos and Spotlight is :30 of videos and rare interviews by a single group or artist. If I could get Everyone on this list to email Muchmusic requesting they play Dream Theater on either one of these shows, plus get everyone else you know to do the same, maybe we can get them to devote one of these shows to DT when the new disc comes out. We need to start working on them now so they can start talking to DT's management about booking them. When you email, please be as brief as possible (they usually respond to brief letters more often)and mention James' being Canadian since Canadian content is important in getting artists played. The email addresses are below. For San Franciscans. Is there anyone going to the Maiden show at the Fillmore on March 28? Maybe we should all meet before the show. Email me if this sounds good to you.

    Muchmusic addresses: Power30 <power30@muchmusic.com> Spotlight <muchmail@muchmusic.com>

I PROMISE! If this works I WILL offer dubs to anyone that wants one at NO CHARGE!!!
